  • excellent stuff! ty for pointing me to the vid as well :D uber epic coolness :D

  • How much does this glorious beast weigh?

  • Holy crap, speaking of auto-crossbow, now all we need is to make it reach little further and longer arrows or bit of autotuning and it'll be perfect.

  • @Bastiest- Also, even though the accuracy might not be spot on, it is rather good considering that, that is the the area of average human body.

  • i love u

  • Please don't kill me...

  • i want one

  • If this were used in large scale back at ancient times, humanity would have an ancient world version of AK-47

  • hats off to you this is truly amazing.

  • I wonder what kind of poundage you're getting on that crossbow. It doesn't seem like it's getting very much, but then again, it is a repeater.

  • Imagine seeing him in the woods, chasing a bear with it.

  • can this design be recreated using paper?

  • remainds me of monster hunter...

  • you match the music

    BEAST!

  • youre like a jesus-chuck norris combo.

  • that is fucking awesome!

  • make it mounted on a swivel base in the back of a truck. then you can use both arms to cock it

  • Pistol vs this.. i take pistol anyday! lol

  • That's awesome.

  • dude van helsing's cross bow is better because it fire's rapidly like a gun!!

  • @juliusmonkey11 *koff koff* That's a movie.

  • I'd hate to be that piece of plywood thats leaned up against your house..

  • im liking this video simply because of dethklok

  • i thought gili from lord of da rings used axes?! he was pissed cuz da elf dude used a bow huh? LOL so he made his own cross bow

  • This thing just looks evil good job!!!!!

  • well sir i in fact do have money burning a hole in my pocket how much would you like for it?

  • The things people think are cool....

  • bad ass!!! more info please

  • Jesus Christ...Zombie hunter...

  • Your'e cross-bow comes second to the guy who invented automatic crossbow!

  • Is there a better example of a hillbilly on YouTube!! haha

  • dethklok

  • You could fix the problem of the weight by a drop down poll that you can stick into the ground so that all your energy is focused into operating the weapon itself. Just a thought.

  • you are a Don !!!

  • metalocalypse like music very badass

  • wow, it's like a ancient bolt action rifle.

the chinese one had 10 bolts, like a lee-enfield, hahas

  • i saw this in age of empires 3:asian dynasties so i looked up the plans for it, gonna make a wooden 1 the plans say they are around 3 pounds

  • Also fletch your bolts

  • I don't understand why people put on steel cables on homemade crossbows.

Modern string materials are X times stronger and lighter than a steel cable.

All you end up with a steel cable is a slow underpowered crossbow.

  • try helical flights! they might not jam the mechanism :)

  • Whats the weight of it ?? mustn't be too heavy if you can hold it without a butt or something.

  • o m g is that metalocalypse?

  • Badass.

  • This is damn cool. I've recently been interested in semi-auto/auto crossbows, particularly chu-ko-nus but this is putting new meaning in my interest. I'd love to try to make one of these someday.

  • while they go into wood easy enough, would they have worked in the middle ages? crossbows had such long reload times (and needed a crank) because they built up insane amounts of force.

  • torque bow 2 anybody

  • Vehicle air actuated fully auto version anyone????

Or is that already in the works?

  • teh awesome!

  • Actually, arrows in a crossbow are called bolts, since they are different that arrows fired from a manual bow.

  • YOPO!!!!

  • Awesome!, love your stuff, keep up the great work!

  • This would be infinitely more useful in a combination zombie/vampire invasion than a normal bow or a gun!

  • @Mekryd reusable ammo ftw!

now all I need is a super magnet that can pick the arrows up for me with the click of a button!

  • @Mekryd it probably doesn't even do that much damage. - definitely not enough to pierce through the skull.

  • @ihavemonkeysinmybutt i would use automatics molotovs a 12 gauge and some kind of spear halberd or a chainsaw

  • bloodlines! ill take your life! ill give you life! bloodlines!

  • cool

  • very cool bro

  • Wow, that's freaking impressive. =) I can imagine that's it hard to use and probably quite cumbersome to carry, but it's definitely awesome.

  • you're the MAN! this is the coolest thing i've ever seen! nicely done :3

  • Nice Job. Even better with Dethklok.

  • Deathclock are an awful monster metal band. I only listen to Animal Collective because they are good and original.

  • Awesome, i would like to see a picture of how the mechanism, that grabs and releases the string, works. congrats on making the best repeating crossbow so far in history, at least as far as i know.

  • How much in common does the firing mechanism have in common with the Chinese Cho Ko Nu?

    Very nice though.

  • Nope. I didn't like the way the cho ko nu worked, the entire magazine has to move on the cho ko nu, the one I made has only one moving part (other than the actual string on the bow).

  • this video = epic win

  • nice job

  • awsome

  • Wow. That's so fucking AWESOME. Wow.

  • what have you done lol......bloody awesome

  • AWESOME FIRST
