@samus989 Its shouldnt be hard because Swizter and AMS performance have 1005hp tuned Nissan GTRs. Most people wouldnt mod it because it would void the warranty(it is a 80k car). The 2011 Nissan GTR is going to have 520hp. And also If you drop about 30k-40k in it shouldnt be a problem to have a GTR with 1000hp or more

@CHimyBeans Its a Sequential gearbox, It has paddle shifters and is extremely... extremely fast at shifting, it takes only fractions of a second for a R35 to shift. It has an automatic mode or something that allows it to shift by its self for everyday driving but also paddle shifters for ultimate shift control. Hope i answered your question :)

It's not an automatic, but a robotised transmission with two clutches, witch works in a whole different way than a automatic.

When you are - lets say - in third gear, the fourth gear is allready in its place. So when you 'shift' up, one clutch (3th gear) will release an the other (4th gear) takes over the job at the same time. So you can say that the even numbers of gears have their own clutch and the uneven gears too. Works just like VW's DSG transmission.

You are suppose to dyno a car in the gear closest to a 1:1 ratio, to try and get accurate torque readings of the engine. If you were to dyno in 1st or 2nd the dyno would should wayyyy more torque than you really have, but the horsepower should stay the same.

Gears multiply torque.

No, that's not impressive, also it ran a 7:29 not a 27. Now the Dodge Viper ACR that ran a 7:20 for about 90k is. Not to mention reliability and cost of ownership are on the Viper's side. The Viper ACR did the Ring in 7,22 at best, the Nissan GT-R did a 7,27 at best.

The Viper is hella lot more expensive and should rather be compared to the GT-R V-spec which has been indicated doing 7,21-runs, but this isn't confirmed by Nissan yet.

And still, it's at tracks like the ring that more power has the advantage, at smaller, tighter tracks, the GT-R is going to shine even more over the ACR.
