Hey I know someone who used to sell herbalife years ago and they said it can be used to lose or gain weight depending on whether you add it to your diet or use it to replace two of your meals. What's the differences between that and shakeology?
@ryebread1980 I am not familiar with what is in herbalife. There are lots of products on the market that will help you lose/gain weight, but you may be compromising your health in the long term. Check the nutrition labels of any product you are going to use and research the ingredients. I eat for health first.
i have a question...am usually very lazy, well feel lazy lol because i work with kids so am constantly tired...a friend referred me to shakeology and i was wondering do i need to work out for it to work? because i often read people really lose weight without needing the workout, just on the shake...

This isnt ignorance, its eating healthy, which is hard to do with prices today. It seems like a great way to get a lot of nutrients we miss out on. eating healthy will get you the same results.
you have a LOT of people asking you" what's shakeology?" when this is your first time trying it? Does that make sense? Why would they ask you that if you had never had it?

I was a longtime Herbalife user & it was my favorite shake out there (as well as my guy's favorite) until we tried Shakeology. Now I buy a minimum of 2 bags of Shakeology per month. I have tried SO many shakes & so far I'd have to say this one is the king of all shakes.
@carammmilk well i guess u could, but know that the ingredients will settle and you will at least need to shake it up again. It's best freshly made. I love it blended with ice in the blender, but my husband is a water and shaker cup kind of guy :)
I support Beachbody 100% as I have been doing P90X for nearly 2 years now. I will honestly tell you that Shakeology does NOT taste good at all, that's why there are nearly a hundred different recipes out there for it to mask the bitter taste. It tastes even worse if you mix it with just water and ice.
Not hating at all...but the only people I see endorse Shakeology are those who stand to make a profit off of it, ie coaches. If I was a coach, I would probably push it too, just part of the game.
@djkronyx Not everyone likes it, but I have to honestly tell you, my preferred way to drink Shakeology now is with just water and ice, blended in the blender. It's my 7 yr. old son's favorite way too. I was trying to doctor it up for him to like it, but he likes it plain as do i. I've even come around full circle to drinking the Greenberry with just water and ice too. I promote the product because I believe in it and I drink it everyday and i feel great, have more energy and less cravings :)
@djkronyx additionally, if people want to get the benefits of Shakeology, there's nothing wrong with adding some ingredients to alter the flavor to their taste. Sometimes I add extra ingredients to bump up the calories too :)

@ISeeFitPeoplecom The True-Food Vegan is a whole meal supplement comparable to Shakeology. I just recently was introduced to Shakeology by a friend. She made me one and it was great. When I evaluated the label I saw it was a similar product to one I recommend for my patients. Yours taste better but is quite a bit more expensive due to the multi-level pricing structure.

@napngo are you sure it was the almond milk and not the Shakeology? I've heard of gas from the Shakeology, but it's only temporary while you're body gets used to such healthy goodness =)
Would there be a problem with adding a tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder (0 gm fat) to make it taste more chocolatey. I like a really chocolate taste and most if not all powders don't make the grade imo.
@GTEd sure, why not, just be sure to factor in the additional nutritional elements such as calories, sugar, fat, etc. I think it's super chocolatey as is, but to each his own =)

I barely started INSANITY and found Shakeology in the nutrition guide. I want to try it, but I'm not willing to spend another $120 on the bundle with DVDS and a shakercup. Any idea when it will be out in smaller packages or where I can get them? (other than ebay ha)

I would like to see followup videos if anyone has lost weight with this. I'm usually skeptical cuz some of them are just laxative drinks that of course... will clean out your colon. ie. lose 10 lbs or so just from the release. I have no problem with regularity either.
I see almond milk all the time at regular grocery stores. I think few places have it refrigerated, I see it most of the time down the aisle with dried and powdered milks.

@napngo are you sure it was the almond milk and not the Shakeology? I've heard of gas from the Shakeology, but it's only temporary while you're body gets used to such healthy goodness =)

Would there be a problem with adding a tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder (0 gm fat) to make it taste more chocolatey. I like a really chocolate taste and most if not all powders don't make the grade imo.

@GTEd sure, why not, just be sure to factor in the additional nutritional elements such as calories, sugar, fat, etc. I think it's super chocolatey as is, but to each his own =)

@LatinDiva310s If you're trying to lose weight, you can still have PB =) if you're trying to lose weight be sure to consume less calories than you burn in a day. For example, if you're burning about 2000 calories a day, eating 1500 calories a day will yield a 1 pound weight loss a week.

I barely started INSANITY and found Shakeology in the nutrition guide. I want to try it, but I'm not willing to spend another $120 on the bundle with DVDS and a shakercup. Any idea when it will be out in smaller packages or where I can get them? (other than ebay ha)

I would like to see followup videos if anyone has lost weight with this. I'm usually skeptical cuz some of them are just laxative drinks that of course... will clean out your colon. ie. lose 10 lbs or so just from the release. I have no problem with regularity either.

I get mine at Whole Foods cause it's close to my house. I have seen it in regular grocery stores. Yes, you can sub with milk :)

I see almond milk all the time at regular grocery stores. I think few places have it refrigerated, I see it most of the time down the aisle with dried and powdered milks.

I love this! I put a banana, almond milk, scoop of almond butter and a raw egg (Rocky Balboa style) plus some extra fiber. SOme people freeze the banana first. Anyway, you're quite the talented spokesmodel, and a great coach!
