What amazes me is liberals for 8 years whined about government and how much it sucked. Why should anyone believe the government? They can't even handle Afghanistan and Iraq. Why after we've been lied to thousands of times should we believe a word from any of them? I'm just clueless as to why people foolishly worship things they know nothing of and just hear the word free and think it's the greatest thing ever and haven't read one freaking page of jack. Don't be an idiot or a tool. Please stop!
In California the number of providers who accept Medicare/Medicaid is getting smaller and smaller.
Unless the bill will provide a means by which the insurance must be accepted by providers, sure, we will have universal coverage, but no one will be treated.
We're going to be in the same boat with those 'disgusting' poor dying off in large numbers.
Hand it to Grayson--this has been his stance all along. I asked him this same sort of question as "Ed" at 1:18, and got the same answer, at his August townhall.
The weak spot in the thinking is a reliance on a handshake agreement w/ the insurers for the lion's share of expected 'cost control'.
Presumably he figures Big Insurance can be brought into line down the road, should they welch on the deal.
The Republicans keep saying that having Americans be able to choose between a public option and private option would inevitably lead eventually to a Single-Payer system.
I want to see a solution to the Health Care problem and it is a problem.
There was a time when Health Insurance was just that, an option. A person could choose whether or not they needed it for a crisis.
Today, you can't see a doctor without it because it's too expensive to see the doctor. The costs are horrendous. Prescription drugs are out of control as well.
I want to see a real solution to lower the costs for the American people. The Middle Class should not go bankrupt when they get sick
I wonder what bill he is talking about? did he even read it. From what ive know, no one has been able to locate this bill, never mind even reading it. Obama said all bills will go on the internet. Hes never done once!

James,
The Republicans keep saying that having Americans be able to choose between a public option and private option would inevitably lead eventually to a Single-Payer system.
Maybe they're right!
Republicans are right sometimes.

no matter what argument people make, health care is not a right.
You have to take from someone else to pay for it fundamentally.

ok, whatever we need to do to make it happen, massive wealth is not a right either...
