@maidenbassguy Sorry... I have never used tabs for anything. I just listen and fill in whatever tones the guitar is not covering. Most of the time my bass parts are a mish mash of other parts that are not supposed to be on the bass.

Well done! I've been playing since the 70's, professionally for a decade and I never understood why people always try to do a duo with 2 guitars. A guitar and a bass just sounds so much fuller and more colorful. Your 2-part vocal harmony really bring it out as well. I retire in a couple years and plan to find another bass or guitar player who can sing full time. I'll play whatever the other doesn't, two old farts doing Beatles tunes etc. (Grin)

Our tuning is all messed up!! That is because a lot of bands we cover tune down a half step. Mike capos to get to the key of the original, and I just adapt the key to whatever is needed on the bass.

Video is shot directly to QuickTime format through fire wire from a Sony DV cam to a Firestore FS-4 video recorder (use bright lighting for better detail). Then I convert to a smaller file size WMV using MPEG Streamclip (awsome freeware) to send to YouTube because hi res QT files seem to fail there. YT compresses even more, so the originals are much better quality but larger files.

With all the great fedback, this venue is like being in an international open mic session for us...Very cool, and not really what we had expected!! It's great to hear from you all....jeff
