Actually, its only when he runs. And you dont level up the charecter, you just change the weopon. The cool thing is, its not exactly chaos blast, its more or less a chaos barrier. but it kicks so much ass man. Also when you get the right weapon, (i forget the name) not only do you get that, but also whenever he slashes he uses chaos spear as well.

he can use chaos blast and spear. You have to craft a sword which has a nearly un-prounacable name. When u attak with chaos punishment u use blast.and when u do a standard sword attak u use spear. If it hellps i think its sword 7.

If you look at the 4 Knight levels they are basically vamped up versions of previous levels. Like Crystal Cave, Titanic Plane, Deep woods and molten mine I think are the ones.

In Shadow's level, I don't understand why they didn't put that as Percival's level. It was undeniably more female (although, that's getting a bit sexist, so nevermind) and it matched her signature colors more. It also appeared to be easier, given how weak her gameplay was. Somehow Shadow's character would have matched lava much more.

Seeing as how this video is mostly Shadow, I though this useless piece of trivia would be appropriate. 

You know how Shadow is Sir Lancelot and Silver is Sir Galahad? In Arthurian Legend, Galahad is Lancelot's son. And if you take that in implement it in Black Knight, that would make Silver Shadow's.....0.0

about shadow's chaos blast IS real AND useable you need shadow's ultimate weapon, forged from -

2 Katana - Find in Deep Woods (Total Rampage and Ultimate Challenge)

2 Orihalcum - Find in Dark Hollow and Faraway Avalon

2 Dragon Eye Stone - Find in Dragon's Lair (Chain of Rings)

2 Medal of Lancelot - Find in Defeat the Boss: Sir Lancelot (and Lancelot Returns)

it also allows you to shoot chaos spears from your normal sword attacks.

The Saturn version of 3D also has special environment changes, like fog, rain for the Rustic Ruins and blizzards for Diamond Dust.

Still the same "iffy" game, though. The Special Stages were far and above the Genesis version, but that's the only change to gameplay.
