  • I LOVE THE GUY WHOS JUST IN THERE FOR LOOKS!

  • I was sure that the chapter standard bearer gives a leadership bonus. Am I wrong?

  • @IsenseaStarcraft It allows re rolling of failed morale and pinning tests.

  • I lol'd at the red measuring stick, I miss those days, now everyone uses measuring tapes. Ah, the nostalgia...

  • you got assult on black reach didnt ya? good way to start playin.

  • BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!

  • nice artillery SMs lol

  • i watched the vid, and read through some comments...i have no idea wuts going on lol. I had a buddy who played and i was kinda curious after watching the 40k space marine trailer. this looks fun but also complicated and sounds expensive.

  • @whadthefriggincrud it is expensive as hell

  • at 2:05

    including u 2 guys

    make it 7 nobs!!

  • so u shot the nobs

    OR SHOT THE NOOOOOOBZ

    get it get it??

  • a space marine cant scatter 12 inches -_- they have BS of 4 do 12 - 4 is 8 so the large pankake scattered 8 inches

  • This is cool. Im thinking of trying to get into this.

  • @LaneTheSlain Hey bro, I'm always happy to help with people coming in to the hobby. What I recommend to you is first of all visit the Games Workshop website and take a look at the armies, see what you like. Then buy the battleforce for that army and the rulebook. Later, after you've tried your first couple of games, pick up the Codex for that army. Any other advice you need just reply to this and I'll see to it. Happy to help.

    -SmerkenKerk

  • @SmerkenKerk Thanks man. The only immediate problem I am having now is the money to pay for it. I went down to my local comic book store and asked about it and the guy behind the counter said I should get Assault on Black Reach. Apparently it has a little of all the armies and a rule book. The only thing is that its 90 bucks. However the store did not have it. Perhaps there is somewhere where I could get this stuff cheaper?

  • @LaneTheSlain Sorry, AOBR does not have all the races, only the Orks and Space Marines. However, if you wanna do one of those armies, there are alot of cheap buys on Ebay. Go check it out.

  • @LaneTheSlain be prepared to spend money. Ebay is your friend

  • Who's giggling in the background. Sounds like a baby!

  • I like the terrrain.

  • why are you playing so close? extend your table

  • orks rule

  • The models and terrain look really good

  • is it just me or do alot of ppl want to go first even tho going second is kinda the sound tactic in Objective maps? Even tho this wasnt realy it ... its still a sound tactic to go SECOND in my option.

  • ok BLAST Templates and ORDENCE Blast Are different rules. ORDENACE are like ORBITAL BOMBARDMENT, Frag Middle luncher is just a BLAST Template you subtract 4 for the Space Marine.

just like you subtract 4 for the thunderfire cannon.

you result hits first before wounds. to me a thunderfire cannon is a glass cannon super powerful but fragile. works to have just 1 in my army tho.

and 420hellbilly is right about feel no pain.

i kinda dont like the Whirlwind but w/e. Go go 2 chapter masters

  • Cool vid. only comment is the feel no pain rule behind cover. FNP has always been a point of argument I play as orks my buddy has blood angels. in the rulebook we have deciphered the vague wording. u can only use it for wounds that have already had a attempted save failed. representing the absorbentcy of pain. ie cc attacks, or weapons not of high ap value, However a cover save is an invunerable save and the only one allowed against multi-melta. FNP cannot be used after a invunerable save.

  • i like the tabletop game but the video games are subpar.

  • 0:03

    IM ON A HORSE!!!

  • * i meant equal to double or over double btw, not equal to toughness.. that would be silly :P

  • The rocket launcher...is´t that a LAS-cannon? In the space marines...

  • The rocket launcher...is´t that a LAS-cannon?

  • I like his strategy

  • were r d gretchin u cant av an ork army wid no gretchin

  • Lol you've bougtht the stormpack on Black Reach, nice.

  • as an ork player i say nobs in boy squads are mandatory with bosspoles and if ur gonna footslog them u should feild no less then 20 if u field 12 put them in a trukk

  • @dndman997 Its only opionion. I find that taking a bosspole with a squad of 30 boyz is a waste of points... Since they'll be coasting with fearless for quite a while. But I would recommend taking them in smaller squads such as 12 or 20 boyz.

  • @seargentkong however rerolls are always nice, and ive been told by alot of players to always use bosspoles on things that can take them, theyre only a waste if u buy more than one per squad

  • nice orks like battleflied is terrain climble for the units and trukks?

  • Is that you in the red? whos doing the camera work?

  • @DaveVonCarstein His wife, I think. Her voice sounded closer, if that makes any sense.

  • Try to spread the terrain out more, instead of a straight line....Makes for a more instresting battle.

  • Nice shirt.

  • for the rocket launcher, u subtract the BS from the total of the dice. so with a BS of 4 for a space marine, it would have been 8" not 12"

  • @TheUltramarine13

read the rules... ordnance firing indirectly scatters the full distance

  • @skidesade orndance missile launchers are not ordance if they were they would have ordance next 2 there description

  • @COMMANDERDUCK98 whirlwind is an ordnance barrage weapon, you're an idiot

  • Comment removed

  • @Guardsian page 58 read the rules... man I thought the last comment about this would be the last.... I'll spell it out for you as from page 58 i.e. the rules for ordnance barrage weapons. if fired at a target that is out of sight, the BS of the firer makes no difference and the blast marker scatters a full 2d6 if an arrow is rolled on the scatter dice... for future reference, please research your rules before posting something like this

  • @skidesade no, you have no clue what your talking about. You subtract the ballistic skill from the scatter. So 12-4= 8"

  • @skidesade actually, excuse me. I thought you were talking about a missile launcher rather than the whirlwind. Your right, for an ordinance barrage weapon you don't subtract the BS

  • why were u using the rhino as a whirlwind?

  • you dont get feel no Pain when hit by a Melter cause of AP 1

  • did you play your self

  • hi, been interested in this game for a while, the table top game use only the space version of warhammer or there is also version for the medieval one? is there a good source on the internet to learn the history, rules of this game?

  • it's only 8" off as you are supposed to minus the ballistic skill except for when you are using an orbital bombardment

  • lol @ 3:38 *SQUEEL!*

  • wow that is soo intressting you and your wife made some terrain WOW!! really cool -.-

  • wasnt the dred firering at the nobz???. nobz dont have feel no pain

  • painboy

  • you dont get your feel no pain save aginst melta guns

  • @skidesade you can't take feel no pain from things that normally do not allow an ARMOR save. So in this case (multi-melta having AP1 or 2 I can't remember, either way it doesnt matter) you can't take feel no pain. Other things that negate FNP are power weapons, AP 1 and 2 like I said and rending shots/hits. Cover save is still good though :)

  • @skidesade You are right that the painboy gives feel no pain, however feel no pain would not have worked against that multimelta, as anything with a strength equal or over double the toughness of the model is classed as instant death, and feel no pain doesnt work against instant death, also the nob would have been killed as instant death will kill regardless of wounds. Good battle report though, very detailed and nice terrain I look forward to seeing more!

  • @skidesade double str weapon, no feel no pain

  • @metalheadbasist and it was ap 1 so n feel no pain anyways.

  • thats cool how you and your wife play together and build terrain and stuff really cool

  • Cool vid! I just want to make sure I am correct about the rules, and I am not sure if you are playing wrong or me? At 7:15 you rolled a "feel no pain" save, I am assuming from Pain boy being part of the nobz unit, however, that shot was from a multi-melta, which on two counts, does not allow a "feel no pain" roll.

    1) it is strength 8 vs toughness 4 (instant death applies)

    2) it is Ap-1 - feel no pain can't be rolled (pg75 of the rules)

    Anyone wanna comment?

    I have subscribed!

  • yes you are correct that was a mistake. we later took one of the nobs out because of the mistake, someone on mwg site noticed it to... but thanks a lot for watching.... am heading over to your site to check it out now bro

  • Hey,

Thanks for posting that, I am such a noob at playing this game that I wanted to make sure I was right. The way you have done your battle report is EXCELLENT for noobs like me. Thanks again, see ya online.

    Cat.

  • @Catattafish they were playing right

  • @Cattattafish

its true, also, they dont check the range. Althoguh they might be in range, they should of checked.

  • @Catattafish totall truth bro. yeah no feel no pain.

  • Pretty good...can't wait to see part 2!

  • yeah its only 1000 points, but the space marines came in at 1010 but we play friendly games so we tend to be generous

  • Did you say 1000 points? it looks like it would be more than that

  • Really great to see 2 fully painted armies ! Pet hate of mine seeing half finished armies on the table. Great job !
