This is a very very difficult text to turn into a movie, just by watching this, i think the 1984 film of 1984 is much more accurate, as well as better in terms of viewing and understanding!
Hi brasz101, the last bit of the trailer was by Fuck Buttons (myspace.com/fuckbuttons), however the majority of the trailer was created by the company who did the trailer - Wynter Productions (wynterproductions.co.uk) - How talented!
Saw this yesterday, it was amazing! I loved the costumes and the soundtrack, especially the ear-grinding piece that plays between each question of Winston's confession.
In went to see it last night. It is really really amazing. The best piece of theatre I have ever seen I think. The main actor playing Winston Smith gives the performance of his life. How he does it night after night I don't know. I felt many different emotions watching this. Ecstasy, fear, torture during the torture scenes and what makes this interesting is because it is in thye round and being able to see the faces of people around you it is very confrontational as well as emotionally charged.
I went and saw the preview night of this at the royal exchange, IT. WAS. AMAZING!! absolutely EPIC! best piece of theatre I have ever seen.

Closely listen to an Inception dvd made before the January 8th Tucson shooting, especially around the dialogue, "Do It."

LegendKnight93, I'm afraid there are no plans as yet to take our production of 1984 to the USA. If it happens we'll be sure to annouce it!

Just coming from the theatre ! Fabulous ! The torture part was beyond my all expectations. I was pretty surprised to see the actors naked too . . .

Stunning production. Inspired use of Fuck Buttons to soundtrack such a nervous and fraught narrative.

Thanks for revealing who did the soundtrack! I absolutely loved it, way more than Eurythmics' soundtrack for the film!
