He has his track playing in the background but he isn't "lip sinking", his mic is definitely on and a lot louder than the track is. It was easier to tell having been at the show, but he sometimes just stopped rapping for a few lines to wipe his face off or whatever and you could here it playing in the background, quite quietly.
