i'm not being a dick or anything but houses in the UK are much more expensive. the most expensive house in the UK was in surrey outside London and valued at £109,000,000 - around $200,000,000 in 2008, probably around $160 million on today's exchange rates. It's a lot smaller than #7, largest in texas, yet around 9 times the price!?

Coming from the UK, I was expecting bigger houses. Don't get me wrong, they are big but not nearly as big as some in the UK. There is a Mansion near me called Castle Howard and it has a 2 mile long driveway.

Not to mention the top 1% pay 30% of the taxes, and 46% of Americans don't pay taxes, and they are the lower class, they don't pay their fair share, and they freeload the most, wealthy people earn their money, some don't but so what, I got a bright idea how about the poor get smart and stop living on welfare.

@fuckfreshmen Just to show you the poor in the US arnt really here are some FACTS!!! 76%b of "poor" house holds in the US have aircon, 30 years ago, 36% of the entire US had aircon. 46% of "poor" house holds own their own home, 3/4 of "poor" people own a car, 30% own 2 cars, there are many more, and these come from a government bureau. What Americans consider poor, is in many countries, a normal way of life 76% also have color tv.

@fuckfreshmen PS another FACT the only instances in the history of man kind where the masses have escaped poverty are in places with relatively free markets, and contrary to belief, american economy is very far from free it is massively regulated, and taxed. Ps major corps love regulation because it makes it harder for small business to thrive, the big corps and cope easily with regulations because it gets rid of their competition.
