did you have any troubles mating yout gytr pipe and fmf header? i did when mixing yoshi and fmf. fmf made that coupling area bigger. i had an exhause shot cut and weld a bigger pipe to my yoshi\
@49bluespacefish GREAT looking WR ! I have an 08 and have been doing some serious off road riding in Royal Blue OHV in East TN. I was interested in aftermarket exhaust ,but it gets kinda pricey. I was wondering if you had any issues with your exhaust without the programmer. Are programmers required with new exhaust. How much difference did you notice with the exhaust and programmer ? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
@CDMA07 I'm by far not an expert when it comes to performance parts but I can say I noticed a huge difference in power. Stock system shuts down airflow the FMF programmer eliminates that and allows mass airflow = more fuel = more power. I put programmer on last, it does require the performance pipe. Not sure about the clamp on but I have had no issues at all. Just a better running machine If I had to guess, which I am, it has at least 25 percent more power. SEARCH FMF POWER PROGRAMMER
Hey, nice bike. I was wondering what you had to do to get that bike registered, I live in CA too and i heard it is a bitch to register a dirt bike for the street, what hoops did you have to jump through
I live in san diego we should go ride sometime. I was thinking of getting this bike, I have an R6 right now. if you wanna go ride sometime shoot me your number
Great bike! , You wont be disappointed especially after the mods your gonna do.If you ever need someone to ride with let me know. Id like to go from here, los coches, to julian ,threw viejas and boulder creek and back or back down threw borona.
thanks REEDSBUD, .... got the scoop on wr250r hgwy/frwy riding, its best to vary your speed, no wide open for great lengths.or posible oil pump will suck oil res. dry also u can gear up frnt sprocket for long distance @ lower rpm.... wrX is geared dif. but check with your mechanic, for long ride specifics. Have fun, Ride SAFE!
Ok so I am here droolin' over your bike sir!! You have done some great stuff to it, it looks and sounds bad-ass!!! I also see your from El Cajon, my father lived there for years!! ~REEDSBUD~

Yeah I have one also. Love it! It looks like you have some black piece in front of your motor where a skid plate would go. What is that?
