PAST drug use didnt help but the cause of death was a heart condition. Just because he was talented and young dosent mean he didnt have struggles like everyone else. I'm sorry you lost your boyfriend to drugs, but i don't think that Andy's body movements are anything to do with drugs in his body. He was an entertainer and was entertaining the crowd. If he was so high on drugs at the time he was singing this song, he wouldn't be so focussed in what he was doing and was in total tuning of his voice and the song and was not forgetful or mumbling!

My all time favorite Andy Gibb song. I took my son to see him perform live at a local State Fair (after working all day). Then, I went back to work after the performance (pulled a double shift at the hospital where I worked!) I wanted to see Andy too!

I bought his casettes in 1980 in Mexico and they played him all the time there and I was so happy cause I thought moving to Mexico ment I would only hear their music and to find out they were more into new stuff then the U.S. !
You know, he realy was good,He was real close to Barry his brother. In fact they sound and sing a lot alike, however there is by far a slight difference. Andy was so unike, awesome stage presence ,a real amazing voice that he could sing anything that he wanted to.Actually, the whole Gibb brothers alone are ledgends of song writing and music.
I feel sad too. 30 is such a young age to go. God rest his soul. He gave us all much joy when he was alive. And 30 years down the line, he is still sharing with us his beautiful music, his wonderful voice and a presence still so very alive. OMG why the Bruce Springsteen hairsyle. Don't get me wrong Brucie's a great looking guy but that hairstyle suites him better.I hope he sacked his hairstylist after this concert. It made him look about 20 years older! Lucky he's so incredibly gorgeous that he could get away with any hairstyle he's given. What a fantastic guy and sings so brilliantly live. NOT a lot of singers can do that these days, that's because they're not as talented as most of the oldies were, even though Andy was a youngey!

Thanks for the video! I always wondered what it would have been like to see him live. He was my favorite when I was a girl and he was realy famous every where. I bought his casettes in 1980 in Mexico and they played him all the time there and I was so happy cause I thought moving to Mexico ment I would only hear their music and to find out they were more into new stuff then the U.S. !

You know, he realy was good,He was real close to Barry his brother. In fact they sound and sing a lot alike, however there is by far a slight difference. Andy was so unike, awesome stage presence ,a real amazing voice that he could sing anything that he wanted to.Actually, the whole Gibb brothers alone are ledgends of song writing and music.

I feel sad too. 30 is such a young age to go. God rest his soul. He gave us all much joy when he was alive. And 30 years down the line, he is still sharing with us his beautiful music, his wonderful voice and a presence still so very alive. Thank you U Tube, for allowing us this beautiful glimpse into the past, that is still so brilliant today.

Well,guess what? My boyfriend was rushed from the asylum to the hospital for the same thing. Thank God for the doctor who recognized this and my condolences to the Gibb family. Andy is truly missed.

Written by Barry (Gibb). But Andy´s version is the original (by the way, the original cover of the album named "an everlasting love" was a picture of Andy and Victoria Principal). I will always miss you Andy

if you watch him closely, not that i would dare to understand his deepest emotion, but does he really look like he's missing Vicky? Short or not, he would have been able to find many, many girls to care for his every wish. I would be one of those aforementioned. I would start as his taut thighs, worked my way up, my hands hungry for the next inch of Andy.....

oh, and btw,. it's very romantic to think he wrote his songs for vicky but really, i don't think he was so enamored to the point of being ridiculous. let's face it. he was beautiful and she was a dime a dozen at a certain point in his career. I think he probably got over her a lot quicker than us girly fans would dare to believe. After all, he had the pick of whatever he wanted being as fine as he was, let's face it...

I think Andy was so high with his love for Victoria Principal........everything he wrote was for her....I can't say she was responsible for his death....but I think she led him to believe she would be with him forever.......and contributed to his death.......only SHE knows that!!!!! Talk to us Victoria???? Fill us in on this tragedy??
