This is what we refer to as a quote mine. The guy keeps pushing the issue after Schneider had answered his question. Not everybody gets to ask the same thing twenty times in a row during a Q&A. Schneider had been misrepresented by the guy before, which is probably why he was rather snappy.

When these "Schneisters" refuse to answer a question through a written statement about their involvement in this scandal, then I feel its only prudent that the press hound them when they speak publicly, I don't care what he is there to promote.

He was asking his dumb questions for full 5 minutes, disregarding all other people, and even then he wasn't stopped by any security. The security appeared long after - maybe deliberately provoked by McAleer to get the desired scenes. It wasn't any press conference about the hacked emails at CRU anyway, it was a lecture on Schneider's new book.
