Fake unless Nintendo gets Retro Studios to send the request to Rare. You just "Vegased"(used sony vegas to do) N64 footage onto the top screen of a picture of a DS. The bottom screen map is fake as nothing is going on down there, it's just a drawing. Plus, I doubt that the DS is 64-bit. If you wanna do this properly, get a 3DS when it comes out, hack LoZ: OoT3D, and...yeah, that's about it. Good luck on that.

You know, Rare can still make DS games, since Microsoft has no competing handheld. That's why Viva Pinata: Pocket Paradise was possible. So yeah, a Banjo-Kazooie DS game COULD happen, but it looks at this point like it's never going to happen. It seems as though Microsoft wants to make Banjo theirs and keep it that way.

Rare won't make this on the Nintendo DS or any other Nintendo console for that matter its a shame because it was awesome on the 64 back in the day... Rare/Banjo come home to Nintendo so they can make a decent sequal to Banjo-Tooie instead of shitty ones on the 360 :S

This is still possible. Rare can still make games for the DS. There's this legal crap or whatever saying that since Microsoft (the purchaser of Rare) doesn't have a handheld video game system, Rare is allowed to develop games for any handheld they want. Hence Diddy Kong Racing DS.

If Sony never made the PlayStation (which outsold the N64), Rare would still be with Nintendo, because Rare was getting almost half of all Nintendo's sales. So, Nintendo sold Rare to Microsoft to avoid going bankrupt. By the way, there's still a chance that they'll make a BK DS because Nintendo owns the part of Rare that makes handheld games.

Microsoft bought them and merged the game studios and Rare together.

Rare never was part of Nintendo, they just made games for the N64.

Well in a Nintendo power magazine that came out before this game was released it showed a picture of Banjo in Treasure Trove Cove and it said "play through many levels including Hammer Head Beach show here" this probably means that Hammer Head Beach was just a beta tittle for Treasure trove. Also Mount. Fire Eyes was used instead in Banjo-Tooie as the lava side of Hailfire Peaks and Fungus Forest was instead used in DK 64 as Fungi Forest. But that would be awesome.
