I had a couple of suggestions. 1) The music in the first fight, made sounds like the line was being pulled, a little distracting, just choose music more carefully. 2) Also in the first Grouper your friend pulled up, ask the cameraman to concentrate more on the fish. not you. No offense, but I am more interested in the gigantic fish than you and your friend.
Hey captian I had a quick question I just bought a new setup just like the one in the video senator 9/0 witha 100 lb class rod whats a good line to spool it with for big game inshore species? bull sharks goliaths
shiti could do this im 6'9" and 295 pnds of muscle and im in the marine core this is easy compared to how i fish see those big bass imagine carp that big in shallow waters and catching them by hand trust me its alot harder than this i have bout 6 scars form suregey and having wires in my hand i shouldnt keep fishing the way i do but i do anyways it such an adrealine rush
captain chancey you are the man! there are some 10 pound bat nose rays at eljo on outgoing tides cruising next to the dock at night. when is your next episode on these jewfish? anyways keep up the good work and amen! you should try it on the dock, it's illegal as hell but so much harder keepin them out of the pillings
hey just found your show a few nights ago and have already watched all of the episodes and subscribed to your channel. keep up the great work man love your show
hey captain ben i don't know if u have ever fished in the Florida keys buy there are some monster jew fish at the jew fish creek bridge in key largo check it out some time i think it would b a great spot for one of ur shows
Capt Ben Chancey I dont know if you have ever been to Naples Florida but do you know of anygood inshore/ a little offshore fishing spots where i can get big fish lke this?
Capt. Ben I love your show, mostly the one's with the big Goliath's. I live in Palmetto Fl. which is not too for north of where you are, and every weekend I go spearfishing at the skyway bridge and evey time I do I see Goliath's anywhere from 100-400+. Have you ever fished it and could that be a possibe spot for any goliath challenge/show in the future?
Capt. C. I absolutely love your show, it is amazing how strong these fish are. I have two Q's. #1 What does a binded drag do, and do you need to bind a 9/0 senator for G Grouper or is a regular one alright? #2 what lbs test are you using in this show? Thanks alot and keep up the great work!!!!!!!
A binded drag keeps line from coming off of the reel. Before we had Avets no drags were able to handle these Giant fish. An Avet reel is really what you need to be successful consistently. 1320 pound test sailing line.
caleshire we have used many different types of line classes. When we did not have the 114 pounds of drag an Avet provides we had to improvise. Thus we used the strongest line possible that would fit on the reel. We currently use 400 on the Avets. We needed to get our numbers a lot higher than every 18th fish. Thanks for watching and commenting. Make sure you subscribe to my channel. There will probably be upwards of 30 new shows posted here over the next year.

I am using a Penn with a binded drag is this show. Now I use an Avet. They have the strongest drags made. In this show we used Jacks.

What do you use as line? 1320 lb?! I've used 500 lb parachute cord before, but jeez.
