Obviously, she is not that religious in the way she leads her day to day life. But if she still believes in Allah and has faith in His plan, doesn't that count for something? There are many Jews and Christians who are not strict followers of what they ought to be doing every waking moment in their lives according to their sceiptures, and other Muslims as well much like Nina who don't follow strict teachings of the Q'ran and Hadith. It doesn't mean she's the worst example of a Muslim woman, if she doesn't want to wear the scarf or follow her religion, it's her choice, she's an adult she can decide for herself.. it doesn't mean shes a bad person just because she doesn't wear the scarf or because she doesn't dress modestly and doesn't go the mosque or fast. I thought Islam was a religion of 'peace' so stop judging her.

It's very interesting to me that two people can read the exact same guide book and one comes out looking like a stripper and one is covered heat to toe with just an eye slit. Both feel they are dressing in accordance with their book. Of course this just shows the book is useless as a guide, it can be interpreted as the reader sees fit. This is not a surprise, Christians do the same thing. You get Nuns on one end..and porn girls wearing nothing but a cross on the other.

The true meanings have been interpreted wrongly by people who either misunderstood or purposely wanted to spread lies - it has been a LONG LONG LONG time since it was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
