McGuinty's Family Values....Hmmmnnn? What makes anyone want to believe that McGuinty's so-called "family values" are a reflection of my own or anyone elses! Whilst more important issues needed to be addressed,our boy Dalton was excercising his "family values" to push through bills that would end the use of raw smoked fish in Sushi? Oh Wow...that is a big priority,how about those Family Values????
What's great is that cynics like rvcamper are a minority here in Ontario. Ontarians have embraced McGuinty's positive message and re-elected his progressive, Liberal government. It's the first time in 70 YEARS that the Liberals have managed to win back-to-back majorities in Ontario.
The bottom line: in spite of the belligerent complaints of ppl like rvcamper, people like McGuinty and they like the Liberals. That's why they won a second landslide in October.
I think McGuinty won because of one issue. Full faith funding. Personally I think it is the right thing to do but it was/is massively unpopular in Ontario. McGuinty's record on election promises kept is very poor. I fear how he will handle the economy in the next few years.
