Nah man this isnt skate punk skate punk has kinda died, but skate punk bands sing about skating and shit like that so good examples are, JFA, bones brigade, faction, suicidal tendencies, and surf punk is a more melodic version of skate punk i guess a form of melodic hard core the only surf punk band i know of is agent orange but then again i wasnt into surfing too much this is melodic hardcore
