How do you guys drive with one big convex mirror? Whats wrong with a rectangle flat glass and round convex (spot mirror) oh yea, thats old and this is Europe. I guess you guys think its outdated.

@15Woodsmen Yeah, most European trucks have slightly convex main mirrors, I'm pretty sure that all Scania models have them... but I think Mercedes trucks have flat mirrors... most trucks also have a blind spot mirror on each side.

@linispower Yes when you did pull out, but if some one woud have driven a bit fast and coming over the hill u woud not have seen him untill the other truck turned in. It's just called comon sense. If you don't see you don't overtake. you shoud have waited for the other truck to pass the cars then you could do it. And i'm not calling truckers lazy, slow and clumsy.. Becouse i'm also a truck driver and i woud not do an overtake like that. You do not know if some one comes to fast.

@CRYMY18 Tell me what he should have done if there came a car toward them in high speed and the other truck needed to brake and pull over to the right side? He would either be slammed right into the first truck, drove into the ditch to the left, or ram camper off the road. I don't know how you learn the drive safe in Rumainia but in Sweden you don't take things for granted and we don't overtake right behind some one else when we can't see past it.

@tobbzor first of all there is another truck in front and a car so u see when the truck is not getting to his lane coz the road is clear in front that why he continue the overtake and at start when he start the overtake u can se more then 300m that the road is clear.I'm a profesional driver too so i know what i'm tolking about i know why he did that and how he know the road was clear trust me to driver a truck is not a joke.

@CRYMY18 I understand exactly how you think. The truck in front overtakes so I can too. But what I am saying is that if there is someone from the opposite direction at high speed. And the truck in front brakes hard, the driver in the video would not have time to respond. Therefore, either smack right into the truck or ram camper off the road. I know what you think but you have to always think about what could happen. Rather lose a few minutes driving, than anyone else loses their life.

@tobbzor This is European driving my friend. You are unfamiliar with it, so I suggest you stay out of it. Notice how the campers have SPACE in between them? Even if the car was coming, truck had place to pull in. This is not America buddy, where they want to make you suffer on purpose.

@FatasMe I now know why i thinck it's wrong doing what he does in the video. I drive a Swedish truck with a truck and a dolly and a trailer. That means 24 meters and 60 tons. A little bit harder to pull over some one with the control of a european standard.

When colleagues start to overtaking, the lodge on gas for it .. If you can safely return to the track in the direction of movement .. And yes, when you go for it - GAS!! ;)

@Falc0n6 It's under 10 real reststops in Norway, and almost all of them are in the southern part of Norway. Oslo - Trondheim got some resting areas, but if you driving longer north to Bodø and Tromsø, you will se that theres not a single real reststop, just gas stations. This problem has been on the news for a couple of days here in Norway.
