lol, it's pretty loud, and it has prompted me to wear earplugs now. my friends hate following behind me though...but it's not 'v-twin loud' ;)

yeah i got a ninja 650 with a two brothers slip on and my friend has a 09 cbr 600 with no exhaust yet and he only hears me when we go out riding. i do like the sound of inline 4's better though and much smoother running.

My Yoshi box says it's for a GSXR 6/7 2008. Your '09 is identical except for colors so the '08 will fit for sure. Also, i'm using a Power Commander V now. Feels MUCH better.

solenoid (SET Valve) has been removed/disabled.

the bike is definately loud in my opinion. i wear ear plugs now and i'm afraid of the cops cuz i'm sure i'm past the legal dB limit here.

what is a set valve? so to get a loud exhaust you remove the set valve, baffle and "cat" (dont know what that is) ?

the SET valve is that little flipper valve under the bike on the exhaust piping just before the catalytic converter (emissions stuff).

tommyjones1970 - the silencer is NOT in the muffler. i removed that before i installed it. :)
