unfortunately the program has been canceled by congress...saying its not cost effective enough. it is true, its supposed to be the most feared fighter we have...but it has yet to prove its self in real life combat. its only proven its self in the air forces "war games". in the war games though, no pilot could see it on radar. it went up against 4 strike eagles and took them all out by its self. it then went up against the falcon. same out come. all due to its stealth ability.

The Raptor is lighter than the F-15 with an additional 14,000+ Ibs.of thrust per engine! The Strike Eagle's altitude record is 103,000 feet (coasting). The Raptor has alot more bang than we think! I can't wait for the day of declassification! D-Day 2 perhaps?
