Some denominations of Christianity, such as the Methodists also forbids the consumption of alcohol. Judaism maintains that people do not own their bodies - they belong to God and therefore in many sects of Judaism alcohol is forbidden.
The Wine flows in Christianity, there are even verse which tells to consume it in the holy bible.
Jewish Torah also does not forbids alcohol.

Whether the emperor read it or not doesn't matter since he had just emerged victorious against the persians, he was on a "holy war" (restoring the true cross to jerusalem) so he would have no motives to convert to a foreign religion, i take the letter as a warning. Some denominations of Christianity, such as the Methodists also forbids the consumption of alcohol. Judaism maintains that people do not own their bodies - they belong to God and therefore in many sects of Judaism alcohol is forbidden.

@anyidplz But it doesn't make Islam special. If you go to a mosque and listen to Imam speak, you will be listening to his interpretation and you may believe it. If there is a religion that has a religious leader, you faith will inevitably be corrupted.
And yet in Christianity, if you commit murder, you are still said to be going to hell.

Allah tells us that Sun is not gonna last for long, some times in the future it is gonna go off. Now even if the sun is gone, the Almighty Allah will be there as He was there where there was nothing. If He survives His followers also will.

My scripture is secred to me and i dont expect you to believe in it, if this would have been the case i would have not having an agument with you.

But you on the other hand keep quoting Surahs etc. Forget what the Quran says; take it out of the debate, and focus on the religion and the history behind it. Then consider the contradictions within the religion.

If you honestly believe that the Bible and the Quran are not linked, I am afraid that you do not know the history of your own religion.

Well Bible (Injeel) and Quran as well as Torah and Jaboor comes from the only source. Similarity between them is only this. Now one may found something like story of Jeuss in Bible and the Quran, but Quran is not repeating it, correcting the mis-information which exist in the Bible.

Jesus and Marry are malign in the Bible, by saying the The holy ghost impregnant marry therefore the birth of Jesus happened. In this way it must be the Ghost the father of Jesus not God. Logically the person who impregnant a women is the father (surgical, artificial are not mentioned here). However Bibles author label Jesus as the living Son of Almighty God.
In the Quran it say, that Gabriel gave the maasage to marry that she will recieve a child, he did nto impregnant her.

@anyidplz In Catholicism, God is the Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit. The Holy spirit is frequently referred to as the Holy Ghost. It somewhat confusing the father and the holy spirit are seen as one of the same.

Coz for God it is not neccesary to lower himself down on the level of Man. He just has to say "Be" and it will be. Thats what happened with marry. So here Quran raise Jesus and his mother high from the dogma of marry being impregnant by a spook.
Quran also crealifies that Jesus was not son of God but Son of a women, a man who is not immortal but mortal. A God is not immortal or nothing like we can even imagine or fantacies. That is why he is God not a man or history or mystry.

@anyidplz Ok firstly, not all of those "facts" about Muhammad can be verified, so no one can say for sure whether many of things he did actually happened.
We know for a fact that Islam, like all Abrahamic religions, is needlesly aggressive and self-righteous. We can see this from Abu Bakr and his successors in the Rashidun Caliphate. This hereby shows that its not the strength/righteousness of a religion that decides how it grows, but whether there is a strong enough leader to force it on people

Which fact of Jesux or Moses or Abraham can be varified? Muhammed was born in Mecca, lived his most of the life there in comfort. There was absolutely no need for him to go out and buy trouble for himself. He was husband of a rich women, all he had to do is sit and watch life passing by in peace. But what did he do? He came as a rebell against darkness. He started speaking against the culture and religion of his own ancestors in which he lived his most of his life. One must ask Why?

Are you telling me that Muhammed in his early life foced those converts, the few whom you can count on finger? Just like other prophets, Muhammed too was tortured, bullyd, abused. If it would have not been His uncle, He would have been long gone.
I know you can point out many things which can be labelled as not so good what Muhammed did afterwards or said to have done. But even for a second if i accept it, still would i be talking about a Man who is born to make mistakes.

In the Quran, which we Muslims belive to be the word of God, says;
Do not the unbeliever see that the Universe and the Heavens and the Earth were join together, before We clove them asunder? 21:30
Now i will let you make out what you think of this Sura and do keep it in your mind that the Quran is 1400 years old. I do not know if this perticualr verse answers your question but it gives the sign that the Author of the Quran is all knowing all wise.

@anyidplz Unfortunatly, it doesn't prove anything to me. The ancient Eygptians made estimates that the Earth was a sphere, by tracking the stars in the night sky. Stars featured heavily in Eygptian culture as well as there engineering marvels.
The only thing this proves to me is that the Author of the Quran either knew about what the Eygptians had worked on, or knew how to make use of their scientific techniques.

Who was the Author of the Quran then? And how come he knew about things which we have came to know yesterday? Egypt are not the only who did so much in engeneering or astronomy, Indians have long history of it but what does it proves though?

@anyidplz The reason why I am not giving it a chance is because I fail to see any truth in religious scripture. I do not believe the Quran is 'the truth' for the same reason I do not believe Harry Potter is 'the truth'. Saying I have an ego is not a bi-word for me disaggreeing with you.
If you want my estimate of who the author of the Quran is, I would say many. It is probably an amalguation of Jewish, Christian and ancient arabic texts with scientific discoveries worked into it.

@anyidplz I say again, there were probably many. We know for a fact that the current Quran that people read was is product of the eighth and ninth centuries. We also know that it was not conceived in Mecca or Medina, but in Baghdad.
Dr. Patricia Crone has stated that: "Islamic scripture was not revealed to just one man, but was a compilation of later redactions and editions formulated by a group of men, over the course of a few hundred years.
