  • @pussymaker82 What does "out of set" mean?

  • Its only rock roll but I like!!

  • classic!!!! great stuff!!!

  • A great singer, songwriter and a fabulous guitarist, much respected and sadly missed.

  • @cellstr / well siad ,

  • Got to agree - what a song but I think the better version he did was on the Rockabilly session with George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton, Rosanne Cash etc. What a tune.

  • @ChihuahuasChannel My favorite version was the one he did for Columbia Records in the late 60s-early 70s....

  • tears

  • Whats funny about Perkins, is that he primarily did Rockabilly, but even his country style was innovation. "Sure to fall" "Turn around" and even "Lend me your comb (which had latin rythms, R&B, and country combined) was very innovate. In fact, Perkins emulates Pedal steel licks on the chorus of "Lend me your comb." An innovator and, in my opinion, up there with the guitar greats.

  • Man this is real country music.

  • R.I.P

  • having loved Carl and his music since the first time I heard Wellllll, his heart and soul in this song brought tears to my eyes.RIP PAL Mallory

  • This song should have been a #1 country chart hit for him...REALLY!

  • One of Carl's greatest songs! That should've been a #1 smash for him...

  • My all-time favorite Carl Perkins song, thanks for posting. I had the good fortune of meeting Mr. Perkins in Chicago back in 1977. A true gentleman & a musical inspiration always.
