well i dont think his age should be a factor of consideration, i enjoyed this solo, but check out those videos of squarepusher in 1996 and consider that he was only 20. i hope this kid will seek to progress that much save become a typical blues bassist. BUT i still think its good!! dont get me wrong!
I don't quite get why this is a response to Squarepusher. Being a "good" musician means little or nothing because every city or town has someone who can play like that. Whether you are 16 or 40 doesn't really make a difference, having a unique approach to your instrument or music is what sets you apart, and thats why Squarepusher is so hailed.
Maybe Mattmit needs to cool it on the venom there but yeh when you can play a bass that well you'll be in a position to comment, as for now this guy's awesome.
If this is to one up Tom, that kid is missing programing the drums and having an extensive knowledge of analog synth, he is still a pretty good bassist though

If he's sixteen then fair play. musically boring as hell though... and expecting tom jenkinson its a proper let down.
Really though, bit cocky comparing ya self to squarepusher, got a loooong way to go yet man. good to aspire to the best though aye!!
