  • he is skilled but its so chaotic

  • Rocked the Spring Flute Festival in Garden Valley California

  • damn doc how'd you get there? Its me Marty

  • Wat's it called that repeats ur voice?

  • @david1991rules4life

It might be a loop pedal your thinking of, though they're all very different not all of them will have the setting he is using.

i was also interested to know whether he is using the loop pedal with his foot to overlay new sound or whether the loop pedal was doing this automatically??

  • what kind of electronic tool is it??

  • 1:20 creeper

  • BLONSKIIIIIIIIII what a beast!

  • genial

  • I've been searching every Didg, Sliding didg, Didg-bone, Yidaki, video I could find the last few days. This was by far one of the best, Shane Philip & Xavier Rudd are the only ones I've seen who could top this one-man show

  • i liked it

but i think the sound loops were too loud and overpowering!

i wanted to hear more didge!

    nice concept tho

  • I agree.... the soundman didn't quite have it together in balancing the two microphones so the didge wasn't loud enough in the mix for me either. This was actually one of my first attempts at looping and beatboxing so I really should post something more current.

  • @TheDidjMan

yeah great.... id love to see more of it.

    you are very good

    cheers mate

  • hell yeah!!! i say helllll mother fucking yeah........ passion and soul. this is good. 10/10

  • Great stuff. Thanks.

  • crowded mess of sound, messin with somethin bad control

  • ...I dont know about this xD

  • great sounds.....Good work.

  • what was the technique you used to learn circularbreathing? iv been trying for months and cant get it down :(

  • @panzuman There's some pretty good tutorials knocking around on YouTube. Use them, they are great.

  • @ETGuitarist lol i actually got it down yesterday i can keep it going for about 6 mins rite now but all i gotta do is practice. i found out my problem tho as it would turn out my lips were too loose the air came out to fast from my mouth to take a breath

  • @panzuman I figured you might have got it by now. Well done mate. It totally blows your mind the first time you get it. Its freakin awesome isn't it. I started running round the house. lol

  • @ETGuitarist omg thats what i did lol! but then i kindof pushed my self a little far i can play for about three miuns nonstop but after that i get light headed. i cant wait to play just like you aussies. p.s. whats the cost of a didj over there?

  • @panzuman Are you assuming I am an Aussie? Mate I really wish I was. I intend to move over there asap. I live in England where there's heaps of crap music. Check out Xavier Rudd...awesome Australian musician and didge player. Get to one of his shows if you can. As far as buying a good didje goes check out didgeridoo breath. Awesome website...google search "didgeridoo breath"....some amazing stuff on there and you can hear a preview before a purchase. Check it out.

  • @ETGuitarist aight dude thanks. but yeah made an assumption i try not to do that but it happens to the best of us ya know

  • Amazing :D

  • sound loops are like athletes taking steroids takes away all the credit of the art 'coulda done without all the armwaving weirdo

    Living Noise

    oOoOoOo

  • BEAUTIFUL!

  • as soon as you use the word 'hip' to describe something, it instantly isnt...

  • that is what i call getting into it.... kinda scares me.....

  • shoulda looped more dij and less vocals for the beat

  • thanks mate!

  • dave why ,when i play my didge do i feel buzzed and high after? is it from the vibration frequency while playing? I mean its real dood i aint kiddin!

  • I think i know what it is from...When u play didge, you exhale alot of air...so you brain gets less oxygen, and that is why you feel light headed..or that way i think;)

    Peace from Holland!

  • actually dude if ya play it right and find the sweet spot you dont use that much air. the natives of Australia had a thing called lucid dreaming it was a sort of alteration of the mind although i believe some drugs were involved they claim it was from the didge invoking their spririt into a dream world. and i guess the didge makes some sort of electro magnetic waves which could effect the mind :)

    from sunny florida

  • @justaman6972... i think it's just from not breathing normally haha. i like it.

  • That is a super sick feedback loop he has going on there. I should get me one of those.

  • I got up and danced! Twice!

  • genial man

  • cool stuff

  • Lmao the guy in the back going. "Nah nah nah, he's a crazy old man."

  • Nah.... I'm just a little loopy

  • Chapeau! This is fantastic!

  • RIP David Blonski!

  • he died???

  • Awesome you must really have to like your voice to do that lol

  • my hero :D

  • Einfach nur geil! Respekt!

  • didgeridude

  • this is music, respect

  • WTF oO the men is a GOD! ;-)

  • circular breathing does my head in

  • Brilliant...

  • pretty cool :-)

  • you should play with keller williams

  • AWSOME...

you were my substitute a couple of days ago at Markham and everyone thought u were a leprecon ^_^

  • you can also do it with delay

  • oO. Ammmaazing..

  • is that him or backround music?

  • What you are hearing is all created by me in realtime but what you don't see is the little digital recording device at my feet called a "loop station". This device records a phrase as I polay live and then loops it back so that I can build up a rhythm track in real time that I can play on top of. In this performance I took three passes to build up the vocal percussion tracks and then I played the didgeridoo on top of that. Great fun for a solo artist.

  • @drunkenchimp1 Thats him man! He came to my school and preformed!

  • are you faymos

  • Amazing :::::::::::::::::

  • no words can describe the how epic this is

  • WOW. That was AMAZING! :D

  • what do you call that recor device?

  • There are lots of great looping devices but I use one of the simpler more basic units.... the Boss R-20 LoopStation. It meets most of my current needs but I would love to upgrade in the future.

  • you are a king bro!!

  • I used that piece of equipment to make beats with my mouth; it's fun! Nice to see him having too much fun. Too many people don't have enough of it.

  • you could make a nice video of all your favourite dance moves. hehehehhhahah!!!

  • not a bad idea... I might just have to do that!

  • at 2.00 it sounds like the background singer thing is saying jackie chan listen for it

  • 'at 2.00 it sounds like the background singer thing is saying jackie chan listen for it'

    My response: LOL it does

  • buenisimo. me gusto mucho.

  • im realy diggin this, i wouldnt mind seein it live. ive been to many a festivals and never seen anything like this. where is the show usually located/held?

  • wow!..

  • Great job David! I have been playing didj for awhile now and only recently discovered your music--I aspire to one day play as well as you man! I have responded with a video of a friend and I playing at a local pub that I thought you might enjoy.

    Didj on!

  • Very nice sound, a little bit strange but very very interesting.

  • created a nice syncopated rhythm, but beat boxing sounds need improvement

  • I'm a complete novice when it comes to beat boxing and I know that I have a lot to learn but I'm having fun with it just the same. As with just about anything I do I look to put my own slant on it so even as I hone my beatboxing skills I'll still probably try and make it sound different that what folks are traditionally used to hearing

  • yah by all means put your own slant, whatever sounds good to you. it's looks fun with that loop station thing

  • brillent!

  • To each his own, but personally, I dont think that Didg fits in there even the least bit. No disrespect, but I started laughing when he started blowing on that thing.

  • I'm a didge player first and only a novice at the beat boxing thing... hopefully I will get better at making them fit together as I really enjoy putting the two together.

I am happy that I at least put a smile on your face.

  • real nice, you must learn quality beatbox ! good idea

  • Thanks for your comments, beat boxing is pretty new for me and I'm working on improving my sounds. This is a video of my very first try at beat boxing without ever having a lesson or spending any time on learning how beat boxing is normally done.

  • well thats certainly different towards the end!!

  • Much appreciation to you mr. blonski

    very inspiring indeed :)

    you should post some more

    vids like this one :)

    all the best

    Ariel

  • I love my digjin, and some of the fantastic sounds you can get, but man, listening to this and watching David groove on just took it to a whole new level. Amazing what you can do with the human body, a bit of timber and some creativity. Verrrrry funky. Couldn't stop my feet tapping and my body jiggling along..

  • AWESOMEE!

    *_^LEI-onsay
