  • Firpo a quien también le sucedió su hijo tuvo orquesta, quinteto y el más reciente el cuarteto, con el que grabó maravillas...

  • Realmente una joyita!! Gracias mnikitasm2008, Realmente para disfrutar!!! Te felicito, Saludos "Cofrade", Anita a a a Santa Milonguita.

  • Dear mnikitasm2008,

I really enjoyed this video. The music, the visual effect and the story of the composer of this piece. Bravo.

  • I am learning, learning...I bought a Firpo CD years ago, and now I am catching up on the variations and colors of this beautiful music and culture.

    Thank you for posting this.

  • Beautiful interpretation and great to learn of Mr Firpo. Thanks a lot

  • Bellas ilustraciones

  • Precioso tango

  • viva mi musica, mi pais, argentina de mi alma

  • @tetracampeon7aopato Es un asco este pais. Como podes estar tan orgulloso y encima hacer publico dicho orgullo?. Shame on you. England rules!!!.

  • @Nepente333 muere pirata!!!

  • @tetracampeon7aopato Tuve 2 me gustan xD en un mes mas te supero :O

  • @ angelmuzzin123, many thanks for your lesson about the tango. Eerlijk gezegd, beste levensregt, ik wist het eveneens niet, en dank zij jouw reactie ben ik ook wijzer geworden.

  • You're right amigo. Es Milonguita. Excuse..

But I can dance Milonguita to Firpo's El Choclo, that was a nice surprise. Other versions of El Choclo (by Troilo for example) are in tango rhythm. We may be ignorant in EU, but we call Milonguita to a slow Milonga, that allows to dance the traspie version of it.

    Comprendo?

  • This is the "old guard" style rhythm of playing the 2/4, like an habanera. It is perfectly authentic. Firpo was the great master of "old guard" tango.

If you hear Firpo play a milonga, you immediately know the difference.

  • Funny.. This was a tango but Firpo transferrred it into a Milonquita

  • You know nothing about tango, or Roberto Firpo......

    Oh welllllll

  • Ah! You're from the USA, OK. An Argentine is usually a civilized person who would have kindly corrected what he sees as my misinterpretation of Firpo.

But you can't help it.. You were brought up like this, I guess.

  • Well,,,,,Che!

Not only you do not know tango, you do not know what you are talking about.

    But that's OK..

I still found lots of ignorant people even today after living here more than 50 years..

    Of all nationalities..Logicamente

Naci,y me crie en Bs. As.aprendi lo que es el tango y todavia lo sigo bailando.

    Oh!! No es milonquita,es "milonguita"

    Chao, amigo..
