Hey nice track! Why exactly you don't recommend the Kore as a audio/midi interface? you prefer the audiokontrol more as a audio interface, but which midicontroller would you recommend when you use kore 2 as a plugin?

Thats pretty easy, because only the first generation of Kore has the built in Audio Interface. The one i used is Kore 2. As far as i know the interface in Kore 1 is the same as the AK1.

Hey Vivi,

how are you ? Great to see that you joined the Maschine crew :) How do you like it so far ? At the moment i use Native Instruments Audio Kontrol 1 which i can really recommend. It sounds awesomely crisp and the latency is pretty low. About Kore2, as much as i liked it at first, i would not recommend it any more. There are better solutions and the cpu load is way too high for what it does.

IM bummed. I have tried every method i could to get the Maschine to sequence Kore. :( I wanted to have it so Maschines Transpost button (play) works, but it makes maschine the slave when I open it up in Kore as a Vst. Are you running amidi out cord from Maschine to Kore?

now i see what you wanna do. Ye in this case you could either use a real midi cable or some internal stuff like midi yoke or you could map the track control to your midi control mode, like i have done here.

it works like a charm indeed but on the other hand, you can do pretty much the same with an APC40, so maybe thats the better choice ;)

Bro I REALLY need to know how you control Kore 2 with maschine. My Kore 2 arrives Monday (yes i am trying to be like you ..lol) I didnt know it was able to Be in standalone and sequence Kore2. thats what it looks like you are doing in this vid. Great bid by the way.

Hey Knock,

how are you ? Indeed you can host Maschine within Kore2 and its a really great way to jam with both tools together. Just open the Maschine VST within Kore2 and then you can route your midi channels to the Kore Sounds.

This was actually recorded with my external interface, routing the output to the input but these days i use soundflower for internal sound routing and it sounds so much better. Google for it, its a great free tool.

I use Komplete/battery, Kore2, and MPC in much the same way that he's using kore2 and maschine. I had the mpc and refused to spend more $. So I got nerdy with the midi and use my mpc 1000 to control sound through midi channels and it works like a charm. peace all

in the end its always about finding the tools that fit your needs and as a long time mpc 2/3/4k user i can really understand how much fun you have but still if you have the possibility check out maschine, its really like an mpc on steroids ;)

I host Maschine and Kore 2 in Abletons Live 8. But with the coming Maschine Update 1.1 you can sequence Kore2 through Midi.
