Nice toys :) It sound really great! Well... it's NI (I work on Komplete 7) But don't you think that over 8 minutes of the same is a little bit boring?
Hey nice track! Why exactly you don't recommend the Kore as a audio/midi interface? you prefer the audiokontrol more as a audio interface, but which midicontroller would you recommend when you use kore 2 as a plugin?
Thats pretty easy, because only the first generation of Kore has the built in Audio Interface. The one i used is Kore 2. As far as i know the interface in Kore 1 is the same as the AK1.
heyyy...how are you?...what audio interface do you use here? i have a maschine and planing buy kore 2 too...and i use edirol fa-66 as a audio interface for now....may be i need a update also...
how are you ? Great to see that you joined the Maschine crew :) How do you like it so far ? At the moment i use Native Instruments Audio Kontrol 1 which i can really recommend. It sounds awesomely crisp and the latency is pretty low. About Kore2, as much as i liked it at first, i would not recommend it any more. There are better solutions and the cpu load is way too high for what it does.
@SuicideServer i really luv the maschine....i will try some NI audio interface in the shop today and buy some one, i apreciated you words, really thanks...your sound is great so...i upgrade my audio interface for one of Native Instruments.
take care too my friend! i saw your videos all the times...
IM bummed. I have tried every method i could to get the Maschine to sequence Kore. :( I wanted to have it so Maschines Transpost button (play) works, but it makes maschine the slave when I open it up in Kore as a Vst. Are you running amidi out cord from Maschine to Kore?
now i see what you wanna do. Ye in this case you could either use a real midi cable or some internal stuff like midi yoke or you could map the track control to your midi control mode, like i have done here.
Bro I REALLY need to know how you control Kore 2 with maschine. My Kore 2 arrives Monday (yes i am trying to be like you ..lol) I didnt know it was able to Be in standalone and sequence Kore2. thats what it looks like you are doing in this vid. Great bid by the way.
how are you ? Indeed you can host Maschine within Kore2 and its a really great way to jam with both tools together. Just open the Maschine VST within Kore2 and then you can route your midi channels to the Kore Sounds.
@KnockSquared what up Knock... I take you're an all out N.I. head now... lol, me too. I'm sitting debating on getting Kore 2 or Traktor Pro and can't decide. I want to do it all to, when I try to stick with one thing I get bored...
i was thinking of going into the video games industry when i leave school (i'm 16 now) i do concept drawings and come up with ideas for stuff of my own. thinking of composing soundtracks aswell. seems like good equipment to use
This was actually recorded with my external interface, routing the output to the input but these days i use soundflower for internal sound routing and it sounds so much better. Google for it, its a great free tool.
This session is absolutely blisterin, awesome well done in the track layout, and the TB sounds well smart.
I am very very tempted to by a maschine after seeing this. You should contact NI as I bet loads of people have bought it after seeing your vid, get some wonga off em :~D
Cheers for this dude. I'm just about to invest in Ableton Live 8, Komplete 6 and Kore 2. I'm hoping that I'll be able to get some good stuff out of them. I've heard wonderful things about Reaktor.
Brillant sucide really enjoyed! Keep it up blurst or what ever ur name is? It's douchbags who bitch and make negitive comments like ur's! Don't put people down because u don't like something let's here what u've done! Again well done sucide.
This was kind of boring - skip through is 30-second intervals, theres not much progression or structure. The sort of thing you hear coming out of douchebags cars.
Also the apparent idolisation of the gear in not only the description but in the comments is kind of off-putting.
If you are going to a versus, at least do some kind of review.
thanks for your honest feedback. But dont interpret too much into this videos. Its just me doin my thing. I dont even claim to be a "musician". I just love makin trax with gear. Thats it.
I use Komplete/battery, Kore2, and MPC in much the same way that he's using kore2 and maschine. I had the mpc and refused to spend more $. So I got nerdy with the midi and use my mpc 1000 to control sound through midi channels and it works like a charm. peace all
in the end its always about finding the tools that fit your needs and as a long time mpc 2/3/4k user i can really understand how much fun you have but still if you have the possibility check out maschine, its really like an mpc on steroids ;)
what is your opinion about the maschine sounds? I know that the most equipment the best but, you think you wouldnt be able to do your thing with just the maschine library?
Does anyone know if it's possible to change time signatures throughout the song with Maschine? Would this be a good tool for music along the lines of Genghis Tron or Agoraphobic Nosebleed?
greetings from montreal---- A+ i was thinking the two would not work well together , but you proved me wrong - i just hope NI makes one unit some day - was that not the point of kore ?
i am still here, ony slightly pissed cause i really gave up smoking this time ;) and i didnt forget bout the remix too, just need some more time. Hope things are great for ya too.
