I think this is the same Rachel Wallace who provided the vocals under the pseudonym Garfield, and the track was entitled "Cool Cat". The music video obviously features Garfield the cat and it's a classic like this one.

I seriously think this kinda toon could make a comeback. Not rebranded as "Nu Nu Rave", nor just replaying the old toonz. It might even annoy Cowell. Simple acid-y beats and a lass singing. Always works. Ask any DJ. Seriously lost genre. Time to fight back for the original rave sound!!

No worries- I've put on a few old skool events in Wales, and they always went down a storm. Keep your prices/overheads to a minimum, and don't charge huge amounts to get in. Advertise everywhere at least a full month prior, with internet AND flyers/posters, and you should be laughing. Outside events cost lots more, and are much harder to regulate (security & alcohol licensing to begin with) , so i'd stick to inside venues for now. Hope this helps!

I remember when techno and hardcore came out. There was a news article on TV. Some music proffesser was saying that it wasn't really music, because the structures were wrong. But for some reason the kids still liked it! ha ha... Now, we're saying the same =)
