do people even know that pros who drag race with civic don't use the vtec system? To be able to run 9s the vtec system has to be taken out. Hence people are idiots. Vtec is only for drivabilityt not for drag racing. Only if civic lovers knew the potential of v8s, they would quickly change over. U can do so much to a v8 to gain HP compared to inline4s. K20s come out of the factory mildly built. K20s max out at 300 or so hp all motor. v8s can go much more. it can even go triple the amount of k20

You don't even understand what you're talking about. Without a vtec the head would not flow well at all hence loss in power.
