No way O.o, when I see youtubers with such high contrasts, I always thought it was just a bad quality webcam or dodgy equipment, didn't realise that you could manually adjust it !

I think attention whores are not always so bad, there should be a good mix and variety of personalities in our society to make us all different and allow each culture to function efficiently. But there are still waaaay too many on the internet!

@AlwaysAnIntrovert Well depending on their camera it could very well be just a crap webcam with no options, but generally speaking it's a basic feature for you to be able to fiddle with contrast.

You're right, it's good to have a variety of people around but hoo boy I also agree we could with less Chris Crockers, Kim Kardishan's, Paris Hilton's and the like.

Your videos are good. Execution, precision and substance come to mind when trying to illuminate te factors that give your video value.

There is a niggling factor however, that pines away at me like an agitating attention whore rubbing himself up against a conifer in the middle of a city park.

The aspect of your videos that bothers me is the sheer clinicalness of it. Part of becoming popular is having panache; whether this is charisma, quirkyness, or idiosyncracy, it may get you more views.

I'd like to think my personality comes through but then I do work from a script and that might result in a little woodeness at the times I'm having to focus hard on getting what I wrote out of my mouth correctly.

Well, I see what you're saying about how pretty much everyone on Youtube has to be a bit of an attention whore - but that's why I wanted to highlight the fact that people like that will do ANYTHING for ANY kind of attention.

True, I've put on makeup for more Komey Laffs here but it's not like I've actually lost any dignity, said something mindlessly inflammatory or posted a load of cheesecake under a shoddy pretense.

But on the other hand, you want more than your mum to watch, so...

I can never get a consistent opinion on my eyes from anyone, friends, family, ladyfriend, strangers...I think maybe on is blue/grey and the other is green/grey? But I have also been told their both brown.

Yeah, there are certain websites one which you can post your profile and some stats about yourself (such as how old you are, your interests, and how many followers you have) and companies will pay you a few dollars every time you mention a certain product name in your tweets. It's like literally whoring out your twitter account.
