QOTD - I haven't camped often, but the few times I've gone have been fun. As far back as I can remember, it's always been beside a lake. My favourite location is Shushwap Lake in B.C., Canada (I'm from Vancouver, B.C.) I think the best part of camping is campfires, & the not-so-fun part is using an outhouse or bush to go #1&2! It's great when the weather co-operates. The best part of all is spending quality time with friends & family in the outdoors & enjoying God's magnificent creation!
