"Please don't take it personally, I just think the camera work is cheesy and not in the right spirit, Classical preformances are better when filmed from afar with a slow shift to different shots as to not create a hectic mood and to get more of a feel that your really there in the audience."
I can't take it personally because this was film by London Digital with a professional film crew.
Mozart's reqviem is the equivalent of Da Vinci's "Mona Lisa"... in music. The most divine, superb, unsurpassed masterpiece... composed by the greatest musical genius ever born
@snakeinthegrass20 I would say he's better than Bach. I think that Mozart had a lot more ideas floating around that he managed to plot down, and I feel that Mozart's genius is shown through more than just an endless variety of fugues. Mozart wrote 19 Masses (including the Requiem), 41 symphonies, many operas, many chamber pieces and dances, and pioneered the sonata form. Bach wrote a lot, but it's mostly fugues.
@Ilkeyrion If you like Mozart more as a matter of taste that's fine but no way can it be said he is a better composer.
Everyone knows the fugues & preludes but Bach's best work is the cantatas. This work has been called "the densest production of masterly music of all time"
when i listen to this music i feel i was born only to enjoy the sound of mozart. i do not know something else in this world which is similair perfect expect natur

Klaus, you are so right. This piece is my "desert island" piece. If I only had one cd to listen to forever, this would be it.
