In mexico tortillas are more like bread.... but honestly in mexico though this is a bit off topic for example tacos are not the same in north mexico as they are in south mexico. My mom makes them more as what in the US would be called a quesadilla.... though in mexico it is a taco... but in north mexico it's more like you see them. But the same with tortillas, they are not they same in every country.
