@videotan00 It depends on the rig but a new steadicam is about $50,000; the day rate to hire a steadicam op w/ rig is usually $1200 - $1800/ per day rate. This is the Master Series Elite which you can get used for approx $20,000.00.

@crewscontrolPodcast Well... You might wanna suggest him to pass by tiffen website to check prices there and for him to find out what he might need for his gear. People are doing great stuff with the $4000 Steadicam Pilot... A basic pilot kit with vl mount, two batteries and steadistand and a useable monitor (the stock one is not bright enough...) can be had for $5950 from BHvideophoto.

thnx very good explanation,..like you said you need strong back and makes sweat thats right..i bought last month comfort kit flycam 5000.... i had back problems since 15 years i didn't think it give me backache i just used for test in ten minutes start my back pains and i sweat a lots i guess i'll work without tired now i tired in ten minute..i will sell it for me it didn't work.
