Yes I live in an apartment complex but I don't put out large amounts of food for them. Just a bit to be able to take photos and shoot vids. I don't want to draw rats either.

for these wild hamsters. do you live in some kind of

I ask because I wondered if they were okay with that.

do they complain about these animals being brought

into the yard by the free food?

where I live it can definitely turn into unhappy neighbors

complaining that feeding wild animals "draws mice"

that then come into the house. especially ground

@b32nis: that's not in the morning, that's late afternoon. They are crepuscular, not strictly nocturnal.

@sheldonceleb: not in the EU - they are on the endangered species list in the EU and it is forbidden to keep them as a private person

@seanyk0803 Their called European Hamster their the largest species of hamster. Also known as the Common Hamster. Its surprising that their called a hamster at that size.

@seanyk0803 LOOLL. I'm not sure where you could buy them But What I do know is that they live near the west side of Europe till i think The middle of Russia. LOL Im not really sure cause I live in North America. But try researching it. They are really cute little pets to have. :) But it's a little to big for me. If i wanted a pet that sizes I would much rather have a dog.

@jimmyluc Plus I don't think you could keep them as pets. They are wild animals and also In some countries in Europe are considering them to be critically endangered. Once the European Commission almost fined France for nearly $30 Million for not protecting them.
