I thought i was mistaken and sent 1 to USM to be IDed and indeed it was a Recluse... it was about the size of a softball legs and all and extreamly fast, I Captured it in a cake tubaware container and filled it with alcohol to kill it without doin dmg so i could ID it... • I am happy I live in New Zealand, all we really have is the white tail spider

  • this guy knows where to put spiders that are very poisonus somewhere else so we can be all safe

  • That spider was hand-raised and hand-fed... it's been grossly overfed to the point its abdomen is stretching to the bursting point, and it can't walk without dragging its belly. In the wild the spider's abdomen is half-size of the thorax , and is dark and rough textured. Also, you'd never find of these things in broad light like he did. Wild ones run with the speed of sound and park themselves sideways in any crack. You'll never see one in light unless trapped in the bathtub.

  • @mnpd007

You almost sound like you really believe that they travel as fast as sound.

  • DAMNIT! Why the hell am i watching this!? I have arachnophobia for God's sake!

  • @garie45 I know what you mean *cries*

  • oh great i read the description 70% of american houses!!! SHIT!!!!

  • @foodrunner464

The OP misheard the video, apparently. It's only 70% in one state. Many US states have none at all, especially northern states. As far as I know, two states that have a lot of them are Arizona and Tennessee.

  • If I'm around spiders I hope clowns are around =D

  • Less than 10% of there bites cause skin deteration... I still want all of these things to burn in hell. They scare me so much... And I saw one I was perpairing to kill that scurred away when I turned a light on.

  • @MASTACHIEFPWN i think ur statistics might be wrong there... ive been bit by these 3 times and it caused skin deterioration every time (not as bad as the ppl in this video tho) these fuckers r everywhere here in TX. them and black widows

  • my stepbrother got bit right above his elbow and there was a huge blood clot in his skin

  • I have no problem finding these recluses. I had one crawling on my leg just 2 days ago. I knew what it was the moment I felt it go from one leg to the next one. I slowly rose up and saw the spider still sitting there and put my hand on my leg and got the spider to crawl up on my hand. This made it easier to keep the spider from getting squeezed if it ended up running under me. Then I took the recluse and put him in a container. He ended up as dinner for my big wolf spider I found in my apt.

  • Dude Tennessee has got tons of these bastards. scary shit. Hard to sleep :3

  • FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKKKKKKKKKKK 70% of american houses OMFG ASL;DGJAOPSDGIHASPDOGHASD

  • I live in michigan, My brother got bit by one about two years ago, he got bit about halfway on his fore arm, the venom ate away his flesh all the way past his elbow, All the doctors could do is give em pain meds an some ointment to prevent infection, said there is no cure for it.... what bullshit, he still has a huge indent in his arm and discolored skin.... was it really worth camping.. I dont think so

  • oh hellllll no

  • "on one state 70% of homes were inhabited by this spider" am I the only one who thinks that they should have said WHICH STATE!

  • just hited a spider and it run:/now i cant sleep

  • omfg im not gonna sleep anymore

  • "Ive got to be VERY careful" *Smacks the spider* yea...thats careful alright

  • i think i got bitten by one :(

  • i thought they were big

  • Saw a fly while I was watching this and I flipped the fuck out.

  • Sounds like a nice gift to give to the person you least like.

  • @LaChicaMasTerca Since the anti-venom's existance, there have been no incidents of death. What lives are you talking about saving?

  • is their any of them spiders in colorado????? i hope their isnt

  • we might have shit weather in England, but i'll take bad weather over these demon spiders!

  • @DizzleOrDeezy This one exists in England.

  • @96Mlm oh shit.. not in like cities and stuff though right?

  • @DizzleOrDeezy It exists almost worldwide, and in urban areas too. Some people are bitten by it because when sleeping they accidentaly roll over them. But it's not agressive, it will only bite if you touch it. However the Australian funnel-web will chase you and attack you and they have a venom that can kill in 15 minutes. And it will not let you go unless you pull them away from your body. They only exist in Australia though. I thought this one was bad until I learned about the funnel-web.

  • @96Mlm

It is much rarer in urban areas than rural areas. A vast majority of bites it gives are harmless, and like you said it will only bite if it feels cornered.

  • @toReasonWhy Exactly! People are freaking out over these little creatures when they really aren't that dangerous (and these TV shows aren't helping at all). There are truly dangerous spiders (like the Atrax robustus) but this is not one of them. It rarely bites and the bite is not dangerous most os the times.

  • @DizzleOrDeezy lmfao amen to that

    fucking hell

  • @DizzleOrDeezy lucky you, im right in the heart of recluse country.

  • @DizzleOrDeezy for some reason i feel england is safer as far as bugs and spiders go...but by far australia is the worst!

  • @DizzleOrDeezy unfortunatley there has been numerous reports of these spiders in england. immigrants bring them over and there colonising because of global warming :(

  • @DizzleOrDeezy i agree i would have to sleep standing up in the middle of a room and i wouldn't ever take my shoes off lol

  • @DizzleOrDeezy GO ENGLAND!!!!!

  • @DizzleOrDeezy Amen to that!!! I live in the midwestern part of the US and I will take icy roads, blistering cold, blizzards, flooding, thunderstorms, and the occasional tornado watch/warning over ANY creepy crawly!!!!!

  • I woke up one morning and one of these were just chilling on one of my pillows. It made my weiner do some weird stuff.

  • "I've got to be very careful"

    *smacks spider with stick*

  • 1:12 gotta be very careful!! SMACK SMACK SMACK

  • @ESCTASTEC no.he survived.but got coma

  • It's not found in 70% of american houses, no way, it only occupies a small area of mideastish america.

  • @Elithial he said in one state

  • @Elithial It's actually known to be in parts of southern california now too.

  • @Elithial Also he never said that. He said that in one state they are believed to inhabit 70% of homes. Perk up your ears bro. :-)

  • Found one of these crawling up my wall at my ex's apartment one time. She freaked the fuck out, I just watched it crawl around for a bit then killed it.

  • Put it back? I think not..KILL THE FUCKER!!

  • 70% of all American houses?

    Glad to be Canadian.

  • "Brown Recluse spiders are most abundant in Texas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Arkansas. One study showed that 70% of homes in Missouri have the Brown Recluse spider."

    FUUUUARKKKK I live in Missouri.

  • @bigtttymer Good luck!

  • why does this guy enjoy this so much and beautiful spider my ass

  • why does this guy enjoy this so much

  • if i find any funnel web spiders, any brown recluses, any other deadly spiders,, i will put in a box of soaked up instant snow, add tire foam, then add mr muscle, and then add poison, i'll never take them out and make a collection of dead spiders.

  • it would help if they told us what state they were most common in

  • @eques101 chilian recluse state: south america believe me i kno so much about spiders its not funny

  • bite me?? i find that offensive :/

  • I was on a build trip in New Orleans last summer (2009), and in the cabins we were staying in, the cupboards were all at chest level so there were no blind spots, the cups/mugs and bowls were all turned upside down so nothing could get inside of them, plates were placed on a rack, and not stacked. the beds were cornered and had no space beneath them, your shoes had to be plugged with some like clay or something, and instead of using the closets, we used special racks so no spiders could get in.

  • damn why did he have to say the bed thing. Thats fucked up !

  • run for your fucking lives trailer trash

  • I think it depends on the person it bites. I've been bitten by those before and had no problems. we literally have them all over the house. We kill at least a hundred per year usually on the walls near the ceilings, in fact i've killed 15 in the last week alone, just cleaning the house.

  • ofmg so fucking sick!

  • A neighbor was bitten on the foot by one of these when he was mowing the lawn. He ended up having to have his leg amputated at the knee because the wound would not heal and the infection kept spreading.

  • I wish they said which state 70% of American homes had Recluses. That way, I can avoid living there.

  • fuck a thought it was bigger haha one hardcore spider though

  • This spider fell down from my bathroom ceiling as i was taking a piss, and landed right on my cock. It scared the shit out of me so I jumped. I shouldn't have done that because I then felt a prick on the tip of my cock. I flicked that spider with my index finger from the tip of my cock and in turn it died. I told my parents and they called me a pussy. So I skateboarded to the hospital and went to the ER. They took me right away since it was severe. Then the nurse came in and sucked my cock.

  • Thank God i sprayed the house with 12 month bug spray but i still scared but the only bugs that have come in the house this summer were 3 grasshoppers and thats it

  • i must ask where are they more commonly found and whats this 70% state infested place?

  • Please tell me their not found in Parma Ohio Dx

  • @Ocilet440 They are often found around here in Oklahoma... We have to be VERY careful going outside or having any boxes or anything in our houses because you can ind them everywhere especially when Its hot out.

  • good thing i live in canada

  • @OuchItBitMe999 Depending on where you live in Canada, There in British Columbia, and western Alberta.

  • @TheRagePassion well i dont live near there so im good =) thanks for the info tho

  • im glad to live in Denmark, we don't have such spiders. No Venom-spiders :D

  • Fuck i would kill every spider i see! >:O except ones that eat mosquitoes shit around my house..

  • I'm happy I live in Canada.

  • any1 else feel little tingles on them like something is walking on you...

  • @a7xobsesser7527 yea omg i feel the same its just ur mind playing tricks on u though

  • any in the uk

  • this gave me nightmares because i saw a spider like that in my room

  • Instead of letting it go, I would have stepped on it.

  • my friend got bit by one of these once. he nearly died. was in the hospital for months

  • plenty of them in oklahoma!

  • Thanks for the scary fact! Now I will sleep in fear tonight! DD:

  • i had one crawling towards me!!! i was sitting down and it started to crawl up my pants then my sis flicked it off. :S. i already gotten bitten by a white tailed spider when i was lil and almost lost a leg.

  • wow lol

  • holy shit i kill a lot of these, i thought they were harmless =O

  • Are they in on the East coast?

  • Hope they never wind up over here. At least funnelwebs are big and black and very easy to see.....

  • @crocfme actually they are not so big after all. They are the size of a marker.

  • 0:49 .. pizza anyone?

  • are they in england

  • everywhere i nkow fukin scares my ass to walk into my house ow

  • Where was this clip shot? Somewhere in the USA, I guess.

  • gross

  • tip for people living with these guy, common house spiders the one witht he dangly legs and hide up in corners eat these guys and black widows too, and they don't wander at night they stay in the web. recluses liek warm places at night and whats warmer than a bed with someone in it

  • if you catch the bite at an early stage can you stop all the nasty shit?

  • 0:47 scares me

  • Yep, that is my leg. Verified in Pekin, Iliinois.

  • Yikes. They are in Pekin, Illinois

  • Yea you really have to watch out for these buggers in south Texas. Coupled with all the black widows who like to live in similar environments you've really got to keep an eye out or you'll get bit.

Ive been lucky so far. Stumbled on a black widows nest under a trailer at my Grandpas ranch back when i was 15 and they were everywhere. Got brown recluses around the house in Houston and my father got bit on his back one year. Not a pretty sight.

  • omg i used to like touching spiders, now im scared of themXD

  • But don't let spiders with dangerous bites turn you off. Ive got a Rose Hair Tarantula whos bite is for the most part harmless with no powerful venom and she is such a docile sweetheart.

  • you need to put anti fungal on the bite, the fangs have fungus which is soem of the nasty wounds, most doctors dont do it . so you must do it.

  • For a while I had to sleep on a mattress on the floor, and one day my mom decided to vacuum. She found a couple living underneath the my mattress. D:

  • most disgusting bites ever.

  • the bite is like someone cut a hole on their leg

  • It is terrible. Even after a scar recision.

  • im not sure if it was a Brown Recluse Spider that i saw in my house under a glass, i live in UK but it looked exacly the same as this spider

  • how the fuck can anyone think that animal is beautiful?

  • Dr.Mike is so fucking hot!! lol xD

  • lol so thats the spider I've been playing around with seems friendly enough it only bites when threatened :]

  • man those wounds were nasty

  • The guy who got bitten on the leg, the disgusting 'pizza' bite, is interviewed on another brown recluse upload of mine. Its a good vid, so if you have the time, search for it on my channel.

  • will do haha right now before I start studying... I'll comment letting you know how it was hahaha

  • Yes they were

  • that bite was disgusting!

  • where does it live?

  • The brown recluse is found by this name in south eastern US . But there are many subspecies of the recluse spider that can be found all over the world. Another famous recluse spider is Chile's araña del rincon. Which means corner spider and causes a lot of problems in homes. For more information look up the genus loxosceles.

  • Great bit of info there.

    Thank you.

  • No, Thank you on all the great, entertaining and informative videos you post. I have no TV so you've become my discovery channel substitute.
