  • I'll always remember this game as the lowest of the low.

League 1. -10. No wins from our first couple of League games and we lose 1-0 away on a Tuesday night.

But 3000 Saints fans are still there singing their lungs out.

We'll be back where we belong soon enough. Our well-deserved return to the Premiership is very close

  • Shame we played absolutely awfully that night. I remember Lambert trying to lob the keeper in the first half and that being pretty much our only chance. Without Kelvin we could have lost be quite a few. I also remember Rasiak coming off the bench just standing about trying not to get injured before his move was finalised. Still, onwards and upwards next season!

  • 1-0 you reds

  • Paishy this is before kick off,i was there old son.

  • and they didnt sell out behind goal LOOK!

  • @PaishyGasheadNproud This was before kick off mate, I can assure you we were sold out for this one.

  • we fill it every season :S

  • Yeh fair play to the Saints fans that night. I was right next to you at the back of the Arkells and you made a really impressive ol' racket.

We played some excellent stuff that night and deserved our 3 points, but it's good to see that you've recovered some form. You should be clear favourites next season.

  • From Swindon in peace :) Well done Saints, you brought a fabulous following and you were the first away team to fill the Stratton Bank (one with no roof) since Walsall on last day of the season 06/07 when Swindon AND Walsall were both getting promoted. Well done Saints.
