I was fortunate to meet and have practiced with GM Ben at Davao. He was really awesome! At the age of 70+ at that time he was still lightning fast. I was struggling blocking his strikes during one of our bigay tama exercises. I can really feel the power. It feels like I was blocking heavy hammer blows. HE WAS THE MAN! Rest in peace GM Ben and Master Elmer.
from the stories that i heard about mang ben, all were positve... sayang hindi ko na sya inabot...thanks sa nag share ng video. his legacy will only continue if the people learned from the grand master himself will also share the knowledge and skills they learned to other students of arnis like me...

master romeo santos used to be with mang ben according to him there are 53 masters that mang ben promoted to the rank of masters.
