Your recommendation of getting the Peterson guild to trees is an excellent idea. I'm planning to drop by my local library. I was going to look them up online, but this is a much better way. Despite being over a year old, I am still enjoying this series as I prepare to paint a large Wood Elf Army of my own.
Hey Chris love your work I have a copy of lets paint eldar warlock it has helped my painting heaps. Wish you had done this project when I painted my woodelves.
Was wondering if you can acheive those results with a black primer as I would like to strip my woodelves with simple green. It wont remove the black undercoat.
@MrTza3 You should be able to get roughly the same results with black primer. Despite the debate between white and black primer, I've found that once you add 3 or 4 layers of color over the entire model, the primer color really doesn't matter at that point. In other words, it seems (to me anyway), that the primer color really only impacts the first 1 or 2 colors placed onto a model.
if i remember correctly u said u would be able to do this in 49 days, ur on the 27th already and havnt completed any model yet :( i dont think u r gonna do it sorry.
@halstead101 if your following along, youl see that he does one step to all of them. one day he'll finish 16. then next another 16. withing 3 days, 48 glade guard could be done. dont forget that his whole army isnt core, somethings like the dragon are huge point values
I like most of your work, but the Orange and Red Guard seem to look odd with the green... belt thing? hanging off them. It seems like it comes from nowhere. I personally would have done it in a variation on the Orange and red, something that would stand out as different but not be a complete color break

Hey. I got a couple of questions
1. Why haven't you linked this video to day 23-26?
2. Why haven't you posted any more videos about this project?
that's all. Hope you answer them.

Like the idea of the dryads looking like real trees. Do think however that you should try to speed up a little though.
