  • Much respect to all veteran's who fought for our freedom!!! I wrote a song called "When You Come Home" in tribute to everyone enlisted in any form of military service for our country. I am really proud of this song, and think that everyone will really like it, so please check it out and leave feedback! Thanks in advance to those of you who do!

  • My grandfather volunteered for WWII as a doctor. 4 years in the jungles in Burma. I never knew him. RIP.

  • my uncle willingly enlisted.

  • I am a vet and this is bull shit they never helped me when i needed it and like a lot of other vets i no that our goverment could give 2 cents of help for us.

  • that video comes so acting to me lol

  • R.I.p. nazi army ... hey!! They're human beings too u know please show some respect too

  • what is thetwo songs in the begginning called?

  • I find it difficult to take Veteran's Day as a holiday seriously any more. it was the government's idea to make it a national holiday, the same government that decided it'd be a good idea to have the bak alleys of major Americans cities packed to the rooftops with homeless Viet nam Vets. dont get me wrong I know there are alot of you/us who truly honor them, but those boys that went to Nam that dont even have a roof over their head need more than a day of feigned national reverence.

  • Never Forgotten Always Remembered ! Click on and watch East Greenwich RI Honor all Veterans in a Heartfelt Parade !

  • AMERICAN HEROES OR DEGENERATES? The My Lai Massacre (Vietnamese: thảm sát Mỹ Lai [mǐˀ lɐːj]; English pronunciation: /ˌmaɪˈleɪ, ˌmaɪˈlaɪ/ ( listen),[1] Vietnamese: [mǐˀlaːj]) was the mass murder conducted by a unit of the U.S. Army on March 16, 1968 of 347–504 unarmed citizens in South Vietnam, all of whom were civilians and a majority of whom were women, children (including babies) and elderly people. Many of the victims were, beaten, tortured, and some of the bodies were found mutilated.

  • Evil plans are attractively packaged and are reliant upon the duplicity of moral people to get implemented as exemplified by our brave soldiers in Iraq & Afghanistan passing out candy and teddy bears on Monday, and killing scores of children with depleted uranium on Tuesday.

  • It makes me feel queasy whenever someone says that veterans the reason that i'm free and that I have free speech. It's nonsense.

  • @wowspare Our country is not invincible my friend. Without the brave men and women that gladly gave their lives for us, America would be under the crown. Or even be speaking German. Our freedoms are not free, few people I know seem to understand that.

  • @tymax96 I agree completely. The ones that don't understand need to be educated about history, and talk with a veteran or two. Too many today believe reality is video games and shopping, or believe the propaganda against the military. Backing down against bullies never solves any problems, neither on the playground, or in the grown up world. You can't negiotiate peace with the insane. That thought not only makes me queasy, it terrifies me to think some believe you can

  • @ourmarinesrock well said

  • @tymax96 Is this what Americans really think? Hollywood got you good. World War 2 was ultimately won by the Russians and even if Germany would have won it would have hardly try to force the USA to speak German LOL

  • @kreuzpanther They would've been destroyed if America hadn't taken the pressure off them and diverted Hitler's forces. Also who's to say he wouldn't have invaded America?

  • @tymax96 The Germans were already on the withdrawal. Their forces were concentrated in the East. The Americans fought mostly German foreign legions on D-Day. They simply hadn't the manpower to occupy America, nor a reason to. They couldn't even get a hold of Europe, it was a useless operation to begin with. If the Allies somehow surrendered, I am pretty sure they would have been a coup d'état against HItler because of the mass murder in the camps instead of Hoolywoodesque world domination stuff

  • @kreuzpanther Ok, i can see where you come from on that. I'd still be open to the idea of invasion if not right after Europe fell then later on. Also i doubt very many people outside of Germany knew of the camps.

  • Cowards find strength thru anonymity w/i the mob. Americans claim to be against the war, in that this war destroys children, families, hope opportunity. War wastes resources. Americans hate the war, yet they support the peo. who man the guns, rocket launchers; they support the peo. who indiscriminately bomb mosques, apartment bldgs., power plants, water works, schools, hospitals, shrines? How is it that 3 million Iraqi citizens have been killed in this war, 500,000 of whom were children?

  • @vlad5548 About yourself? Trash, Trash, Trash.....

  • @vlad5548 obviously you are not a veteran or young and ignorant.

  • my dad was in vietnam and my uncle is in the air force now flyin an f15

  • Spent like CHIP-IMPLANTED WHORES ON CHICKEN PLANET: The invaders who slaughtered the citizens of Vietnam, and those who are currently slaughtering the citizens in the Arab World, have no honor, despite the corporate State-sanctioned interims designated to deify and memorialize veterans; to confer honor upon the foot-soldiers of international banking; to confuse the issue as to what is the Constitutional purpose and set-asides of warring and social encumbrances.

  • @CelestialEmbodiment i hope you stand in my shoes at the gates of hell one day

  • @crewkid16 : Perhaps your family will be slaughtered by foreign peace-keeping soldiers within the U.S.?

  • @CelestialEmbodiment if you dont like it then you are free to renounce your citizenship, move to a country that will give you what you want. North Korea maybe freaking coward

  • @coolnamesweretaken1 : Some day you'll share physical intimacies with a woman...some day.

  • @CelestialEmbodiment im a family man, you young arrogant fuck. I am also a combat veteran with 12 honorable years of service as a Navy SEAL. Thats all that needs to be said.

  • @coolnamesweretaken1 : You know what you are. Bow your head in shame.

  • @coolnamesweretaken1 celest is right about ONE thing- you know who you are. So hold your head up HIGH. Just rememeber for every one person that makes you wonder if fighting for them was worth it, there are dozens more that make it so. Those of us that appreciate our freedoms and military must become more vocal in our thanks, and active in appreciation!!!

  • Honoring the Men and women that fought and protected or country ive had family members in the armed forces my great grandfather, my grandfather, my 2 uncles vetrans of, WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Dessert strom, and well my other uncle is still in the army hes in Afganistan or Iraq right now

  • I really really would like to be an American citizen, and serve in the U.S. military forces. Thank you veterans, for saving the world many times. God bless you!

  • As a veteran of Desert Storm in 1991 and a current member of American Legion post 88. I read most people are thankful. But of course you have people that have no soul or mental development to understand. I CAN SEPARATE BIG BUSINESS AND POLITICAL GAIN, from Patriotism....... I have been also involved in other missions after the war worldwide also. I seev the 4 thumbs down for this video. I have a rich family history form ww1to iraqi freedom full of veterans. Sad Civilians just don't get it....

  • Hate America or our Troops? If you do, then get the FUCK out!

I wasn't even born in the USA and I love this country God Bless America!

  • GOD BLESS AMERICA!!! LET FREEDOM RING!!!

  • And what a privlege it is to have a W.W.2. Veteran, G.G. Meyerkorth, who was my great grandfather. May he be remembered by my family and friends.

  • A veteran is someone, who at one point in their life, wrote a blank check payable to to the United States of America for an amount up to, and including, their life. That is beyone honor, and there are far too many people in this country who no longer remember that fact. Or respect it. So, today, and every chance you get, be sure to thank a Veteran.

  • And sadly our Commander in Chief is absent :(

  • And what a privelege it is to have a W.W.2. US Captain Robert D. Austin who was my grandfather may he be remembered by friends, and family God Bless.

  • 40 DISLIKES! seriously -__-

  • Thank you to the fallen. and thank you for those that have served overseas. today, our veterans are in our hearts and america is in our veins

  • When I saw the 4 thumbs down for this video..I my mood just dropped completly........Why america.............It is these vets that allow Us to be smart asses.

  • While I have no personal military experience, i have several friends overseas now, and every man in my family has served in the U.S. Armed Forces since WWI. Stories like these reminds me of the pride and valor that this nation was founded and built upon. We all must have the utmost reespect and gratitude for every sinlge Veteran, KIA, otherwise deceased, wounded or unharmed, who have served in any war or who have never seen combat. We are forever indebted to them for our existence. Thank You All

  • THUMBS UP FOR THIS VIDEO. and for the 4 i see thumbs down, you think you're funny, but vetrans gave YOU the right to a nice place to live, a computer and the right to vote thumbs down. To ALL vetrans and all US armed services, and the volunteers who help them, Thank You!!!

  • I WANT TO THANK EVERY SINGLE VET, EVEN THE FORGOTTEN, SLOGGING THRU THE MUD WHO DIED EARLY IN DIFFERENT WARS! THE ONES WHO CAME HOME AND FOUND THE PROMISES MADE TO THEM, BROKEN. THE SPAT UPON HEROES WHO CAME HOME TO PROTESTER'S HATE! THE ONES WHO ARE MOCKED BY THE FALSE CHRISTIANS AT WESTBORO WHO SHOULD BE IMPRISONED FOR HARASSMENT, DISTURBING THE PEACE AND DISORDERLY CONDUCT. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SERVICE, AGAINST ALL ODDS AND THANK YOU TO THE LIVING AND SERVING WITH LITTLE SUPPORT FROM OBAMA!

  • Notice Obama is not seen today..he praised military of indonesia but not one mention of american troops.

  • @xxxxxxxpimptaddyone Are you fucking serious? he didn't say anything about our men and women? that kind of pisses me off. Thats why i like bush. He paid respects to our Vets and active duty soldiers.

  • Great work Ray. You've set a high standard. I wish you the best. I hope our paths cross again, hooah!

  • thums up for all the veterans that give us freedom

  • THANK YOU

  • @WenchesOfRedemption hahahaaa! >:) amen to that!

  • Thank a vet you ungrateful fucks

  • Much respect! You all defend us at the risk of your own lives. The only sacrificial act that comes close...is the death of Jesus Christ to save all humanity. I thank you! I know the memories during this Veterans' holiday may be bitter-sweet. We recognize your sacrifice and the loss of dear friends met on the battlefield. Your time, your sweat, your tears, your pain...were not in vain. You kept America Free! We can live freely...because of YOU! Thank you.

  • I LOVE THE FACT THAT THE MESSAGE IS 2 VETERANS, OF PAST AND PRESENT. ITS DA WWII MEMORIAL MONUMENT THAT UNEASES ME . . . . NOTHING IS MENTIONED OF OUR NATIVE AMERICAN TONGUE (CODES) THAT WAS A HUGE PART OF THAT MEMORIAL . . . .

  • Thank you USA from KOSOVO

  • I like to thank my fellow veterans. As a 23 year veteran - retired from the US Navy.

May we remember for those who have endless courage and selflessness from the day when you fought for your people to today for those who fight for one. May your journey to the battlefield include a safe return home for you and your loved ones. I stand today saluted as I do everyday. There is no word or number that can describe or show the amount of my gratitude. Thank you.

  • Thank you Veterans! It is because of you, we are able to enjoy the greatest personal freedoms and the opportunities in the world.

  • thanks all of America's military veterans; We salute you!

  • As a veteran, I'm truly pleased by this moving tribute. May God continue to bless the United States of America.

  • Lest we forget. Today is not just a day off of school for me, it's a day to remember and honor each veteran. To show they are not numbers, but individuals. Bless all that are alive, and to our glorious dead.

  • It is the Veteran who salutes the Flag. And it is the Veteran who serves and is buried under the Flag.

    May God Bless them all.

  • It is the Veteran, not the community organizer, who has given us freedom to assemble.

It is the Veteran, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press.

It is the Veteran, not the preacher, who has given us freedom of religion.

It is the Veteran, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial.

It is the Veteran, not the politician, who has given us the right to vote.

It is the Veteran, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech.

  • Who ever said community organizer given us freedom to assemble? What a cheap political shot!

  • @joekiddone Thank you for sharing this GREAT POST!

  • @joekiddone I'm not too sure any vets would condone going over and killing some other people "defending our country".

Whenever I hear "America the Beautiful" or "God bless America" I see no vets singing.

Nationalism is the worst sickness of them all.

  • @joekiddone And yes that is all true.

  • Thank you veterans. Let us not forget some of our best and our brightest who serve thousands of miles from home.

  • God Bless the Troops!

  • God Bless each and every Veteran who has served our country and God continue to bless the active duty troops that are still on active duty. Because of you we are still able to consider ourselves free..

  • We watched this at school today!! It's a really cool video.

  • Thank a vet; bring them home.

This Veteran's day I will join my brothers in arms by thinking about all those who won't be coming home. These wars are tragic and no good will come of them. Bring our troops home alive.

  • Uniquerestorations...... Guess that means you don't really know Shit!!!

  • @txrangersfc lol

  • Thank you for this video. Wonderfully done. Veteran Affairs have been very helpful to me in obtaining various kinds of help for my aging father who was a Marine during the Korean war. My brother served 30 yrs in the Navy, another brother served in the Army Reserves and one grandpap served in the Army and another in the Coast Guard. A cousin served 25 yrs in the Air Force. I am proud of all of them and all of our Servicemen and women, as well as all those volunteers who assist and help them

  • In addition to paying respect, we extend the honor deserved to those who have served and their families, by teaching our children to respect those who protect our county from all enemies foreign and domestic, and the freedoms we enjoy.

  • Why does the Korean War veteran always get slighted? Are they not veterans as well? America, it is way past time to stand up and honor our "Forgotten Veterans" from the Korean War!

  • @maxcath as the producer of this film I"m sorry you feel that way. The shot with the rain coming down is a depiction of the Korean War infantry and the following stand up was shot at the Korean War Memorial. By Law we can't get close enough to the actual statues with an on-camera host. (which is what we originally planned) As a 10-year Army veteran, believe me your sacrifice is not forgotten.

  • @bumpthekoala I noticed that and the shot of the memorial in the background as the host was speaking. I also appreciate your sentiments, but is it that difficult to mention them and their conflict by name? I appreciate your respect and your remembrance. God bless all veterans past, present, and future! ****====

  • Thank you veterans, reserves and active duty.

Proud son of a Peleliu Marine veteran.

  • WE WHO HAVE PROUDLY SERVED, ENJOY THE LIFE WE

NOW HAVE, IN FREEDOM. BUT REMEMBER ONE THING, OUR FREEDOM IS NOT FREE. FREINDS, FAMILY, AND OUR SERVICE BROTHERS GAVE THEIR LIVES. THANK THOSE WHO LIVE, AND REMEMBER THOSE WHO DIED. GOD BLESS
