I never knew that christians were sent to concentration camps. What was Hitlers religion? I thought that he was a christian and that he hated jews because they didn't think that Jesus was Gods son? (I might be wrong on that)

@206pm Hitler was an atheïst and a ferm believer in survival of the fittest, natural selection and that only the strongest race has the right to live. He believed so strong in his convictions that he even left his own German people to die at the end of the war and he slowed down the German surrender as long as possible. In his childhood he was a Roman Catholic but as a teenager he left the church and thought that religion was weak.

He never had a good relationship with his father who was brutal towards the children with his alcoholic problem and his harsh way of raising. His dad also limited him to become an artist. His death was a relief for Adolf. His mother died when he was about 17 I believe. He had a very good relationship with his carrying mother and her los was tragical to him.

I believe one of his grandfathers was jewish or partially jewish.
