My main local find however is that there is a monestary located EXACTLY on the Machu Picchu/Soo line. It is called St. Benedicts and is built on the highest point of land above sea level in the southern half of Michigan/s lower peninsula.

@oleosis007 I remember seeing a large house-like structure with a drive/parking area on the east side of it. As I remember, it is southeast of the City of Lake Orion. I wonder if the local historical society would have info on the naming of Lake Orion and Orion township. My dad grew up near Tawas. I remember him saying that Tawas is a native American name for the pole star.

Awesome! I have just started researching the great lakes biome and came across your video. My curiosity was stricken because of the alignment of the great pyramids with the Orion constellation. I live in Lake Orion, Orion Township Michigan and wanted to know if my towns name had any sort of higher reasoning behind it. I guess it just might. I plan to try and pinpoint the exact line leading from the Soo to Machu Picchu walk it and see if I am able to make any local discoveries. The fun begins!
