this is about the limit on the lows for my current pair headphones. they are Sennheiser brand, but I only bought them for like $25, which was a value. They still work great, just bass isn't a strong point (I don't care, I listen to metal)

@teddyd2009 close, they are HD 202's. It's okay though because I also have a pair of cans with way better bass response, even though I really don't care so much about extremely deep bass. I'm not a big dubstep or rap listener so really 40-50 hz is fine, anything lower just seems to muddy up the mids and highs.
