  • I must say Cathy, that was a good impromptu. Try not to take this as an insult because my intentions were not to insult you, I believe it may be best to type your ideas down onto Microsoft Office Word or any word document software you use before making a video. Your advice are good but the "um"s are really a turn off. If you are able to get rid of these "um"s, your message would be delivered more smoothly.

  • eh, no, actually carbohydrates are what gives you energy. carbon and hydrogen combined with oxygen literally burn (as in, there's a flame), that's why we breathe oxygen and eat sugar

  • I ate a box of girl scout tagalongs tonight for dinner. soooo good, but now I am having a sugar crash.

    my favorite snack is cottage cheese with pineapple pieces.

    You certainly know your stuff, but trying to tell this info to people who are desperate to lose weight is impossible. all they see on the label is " low fat , zero fat , 2% carbs " etc etc, and they just want the quick fix thats promised.

    if people actually took the time to do some research beforehand, and had patience, they would easily achieve their diet goals within 6 months.

  • @DaveyLoosesWeight Well I hope at least some people will listen to what I have to say. Sometimes I wonder if they realize that getting yourself to a healthy weight involves a longterm lifestyle change, not some quick fox.

  • @CathyAnxiety I think there will be some that will listen to what you say, especially since you put it all across so well :) I think folk would get themselves to a healthy weight pretty fast if they chased around that quick fox :P

    Seriously though, looking forward to some recipes, I need to widen my repertoire from lasagne and chilli con carne... plus need to get into veg again. And Davey, have to say I fully agree with your initial comment, how cute indeed :D

    well, thats the problem right there.

    when people do lose weight and reach their goal, they go back to their old eating habits, and also, the exercise regime goes out the window too.

    and this is how people gain twice as much weight than before the diet because they aint clued-in fully on nutrition.

    im well sorted though, i have my carbs and milk in the mornin, and gradually fade into eating my proteins. it also helps that i use maximuscle products right after each workout :)

  • First to comment on a video for once! :D Lots of good tips in there although I can't eat low fat cheeses as to me they have little to no taste. Then again I like my cheese to be very strong. Yoghurt is a great snack. I love yoghurt, and pretty much all dairy foods.
