The American people through the democratic process chose the person that they trust to lead the nation. The prize is what I believe to be a plan of action unseen in the past 40 years. While people are concerned about whether Obama can handle what is before him, he has increased what he intends to tackle immediately.That means that he has long had a plan.I believe that we will see brilliance displayed on his watch. Did we really want the legacy of GWB? I think his 14%approval rating says no.
I believe Obama has a plan...I am just not so sure its the best for our country or that the plan is really his. I think he is nothing more than a puppet who can't handle questions that haven't been approved or speaking "off card" and whose qualification are still questionable. He has a charisma that makes some lose common sense, but the truth will be become apparent as his "transparent" leadership grows cloudier everyday.

A community organizer in Chicago (3rd largest city) is a political position (your argument was that he was new on the political trail). I also stated that he was a State Senator from 1997-2004, and a US Senator for the remainder. Nice video, but most of that large war chest came in the form of small donations from a lot of Joes and Janes. Once again the problem isn't that Obama got so much, it's that the system allows and almost requires a canidate to raise such an outrageous amount. Republicans weren't complaining four or eight years ago.
Problem is that McCain limited himself to public funds for his campaign, which is the way presidential campaigns have been run for years. Obama decided not to and went with PAC money along with the small donors.
We'll see how "the party of the rich" does next time around, something tells me the Republicans aren't going to use public funds...
The problem is that the process needs an overhaul so that it is not a popularity contest where the contestants all try to outspend each other on their swimsuit and evening gown. We need serious election reform so that all the canidates, even "Third Party" canidates, have an equal opportunity to make their case. We need and electorate that is concerned enough to do a little research instead of having information spoon fed to them. Those are the real problems.

Oh wow! I love that! Champagne socialists! Washington is FULL of them! Interesting how they NEVER follow their own dictates. It's a lot like Animal Farm, by Orwell. I love to compare them to that book! The piggies in the farmhouse, the animals that are MORE equal than the other animals. Sound familiar? We'll be seeing a lot of that this year. We already have. Obama runs a disgusting administration. I feel like we have no president right now. Rudderless, no map. Yikes!

The American people through the democratic process chose the person that they trust to lead the nation. The prize is what I believe to be a plan of action unseen in the past 40 years. While people are concerned about whether Obama can handle what is before him, he has increased what he intends to tackle immediately.That means that he has long had a plan.I believe that we will see brilliance displayed on his watch. Did we really want the legacy of GWB? I think his 14%approval rating says no.

I believe Obama has a plan...I am just not so sure its the best for our country or that the plan is really his. I think he is nothing more than a puppet who can't handle questions that haven't been approved or speaking "off card" and whose qualification are still questionable. He has a charisma that makes some lose common sense, but the truth will be become apparent as his "transparent" leadership grows cloudier everyday.

I'll call this the Great Zimbabwe or Egypt argument. A black man/person can not have greatness or advanced intellect. Someone/tning must be behind them pulling the strings. I think that while campaigning he had to be very careful what he said. Say this black people are pissed, say that white people are pissed. Invite a minister that gay people don't like, they're pissed. He can now do or say what he wants. What he says affects markets so I will concentrate on what he does.

My opinion of him has nothing to do with his color. That is an easy out that so many use to combat the critics. the fact that he has only been a year in the political arena has something to do with his lack of experience. As well as his being propelled into the presidency says that he is not doing this alone. I guess we will see what he can do. If he allows "transparency" into his office.

I don't think that GWB, McCain or Palin's plan were theirs. Big Corporations, top 10% of the country, yep! Not saying that Obama isn't their choice too, however if he is, I believe that it is unwittingly. GWB's association with Skull and Bones leads me to believe that he was a willing participant.

I am not one of those who vote for a woman because I am one nor am I going to vote based on race(I wasn't going to vote for Hillary because I disagree with her policies and I felt she was a horrible representation of being the first women president. After she destroyed this country, I felt no one would trust to vote another woman into office again.) While McCain was a horrendous choice for office and I believe a sure-fire way to make sure Republicans lose- doesn't make Obama a better choice.

No it's not, because we're still arguing about whether Obama is qualified. People are getting more passionate but most don't have a clue about who really runs this country and why things happen the way they do. They are too busy trying not to foreclose on that Jumbo loan they took out to pay for the house, pool and room additions that they couldn't afford. I don't think that you are racist though. I think that you have biases that you either won't admit or are unaware of.

His major contributors ( well the ones Obama discloses) Unfortunately its a bunch of crooked, white people that put him into power. That's not racist- that's the truth. Go check it out yourself.

Redneck is not a deragatory term such as N....r. When Imus created his controversy white people caused black people to come to terms with saying that word. Should redneck not be used? It may be classist, but not racist. I've heard it so much on TV lately that it is most likely a household word by now.

I suppose that is what many think about the "N" word. It's not derogatory except for those that get hit on the other side by it. Yeah, I think to a Southerner "redneck" may not be all that appreciated any more than the "N" word used by outsiders. The term is racist when another uses it outside that race- No matter what the term ; no matter what the race.

No you don't hear the N word on regular TV, R-rating. I was in the military with white men and they had no problem with the word redneck used by others. Some wore it as a badge of honor, so I disagree with the comparison. I've been a cop for 18 years in a western city. Redneck has never been offensive to anyone unless of course they don't see themselves that way. If they don't they probably wouldn't be called one.

That's weak. Yes I see what you look like are you trying to say something? A community organizer in Chicago (3rd largest city) is a political position (your argument was that he was new on the political trail). I also stated that he was a State Senator from 1997-2004, and a US Senator for the remainder. I think that puts him on the political scene for more than 11 years excluding his "community organizing" time.

Nice video, but most of that large war chest came in the form of small donations from a lot of Joes and Janes. Once again the problem isn't that Obama got so much, it's that the system allows and almost requires a canidate to raise such an outrageous amount. Republicans weren't complaining four or eight years ago.

Problem is that McCain limited himself to public funds for his campaign, which is the way presidential campaigns have been run for years. Obama decided not to and went with PAC money along with the small donors.
We'll see how "the party of the rich" does next time around, something tells me the Republicans aren't going to use public funds...

The problem is that the process needs an overhaul so that it is not a popularity contest where the contestants all try to outspend each other on their swimsuit and evening gown. We need serious election reform so that all the canidates, even "Third Party" canidates, have an equal opportunity to make their case. We need and electorate that is concerned enough to do a little research instead of having information spoon fed to them. Those are the real problems.
