Interesting that he predicts enhanced communication and memory thru implants in a decade. We have those things today, but thru mobile devices instead of implants. Less medical risk and easier to upgrade I suppose.
The point of this, as I gather wouldn't be to "download" knowledge, but rather to access it as we do wikipedia using computers. If this is true, then it would be impossible for anyone to directly control our brains in the same way as a computer. People get far too worked up and worried over this but remember, this man is clever, probably more so than you. He wouldn't allow such a thing to exist. As for playing god, he doesn't exist so why not?
Nothing good can come from these arrogantly, these Dr. Who style crazies. Hopefully a bigger sick fish will teach this corporate suck hole a lesson he can never forget. Most corps. or evil dictators eliminate anyone who has helped them get into position after the fact because there is no more use for them. Welcome to Hell where everyone will be tracked and killed at will using this chip.
I agree that some of this is cool, but if we can just download information into our brains instead of working for it then everyone will be at the same level and no one will be able to shine. The things that make us human will be taken away from us. Things like sports will cease to exist because things like competition will be destroyed.

i don't think being a cyborg means "not a human." I admire Kevin Warwick but I don't know where he gets that idea. After all you can't be born a cyborg, ergo it is not a new species. A cyborg would be human, but we would probably end up calling them "augmented humans." Anyway, I want to be a cyborg someday, and I would like to call myself an augmented human if that dream ever became a reality. I like how it sounds.
Awesome :D Being a superhuman comes closer every day ^^ Genetics, neurotechnology, nanotechnology and cybernetics, hehe >:D Apply all of that to a human and he will rule the world!!! >:D
Kevin Warwick is one of my lecturers at Uni, and he is incredibly interesting and has a fantastic way of making any module he teaches interesting. This year and next year I hoping to use one of his robotic hands he had developed in my group project. You can check out the progress at jamielewisblake.blogspot.com
When he spoke on the education system, I can't see what he said ever being possible. 12 years of school is basically to get the masses to easily conform, enter the workforce, & to build up large businesses & corporations mostly owned by the government; imperialism. School doesn't really teach us about anything else important, but that doesn't mean one can't relate to it, that's just how it's setup.
@1Alino Actually your brain would be the operating system for the implants that way you won't have to worry about crashes or errors or any other bs. lol
@1Alino I hear ya. I complety agree todays education is useless how much of education through school will we acutally remember by the age of 20 or 30?
@0sbraz0 Human brain is a dual core in a way, so why not quad core or whatever. I bet you meant actually "upgraded human brain" that is capable for at least many times more then the normal humans could ever do :P
@cyberdaemon i think with dual core i meant a funny "it's too futuristic" comment in the first place :D then something like producing a human with a single concience but two brains, to preserve individuality and other things. basically it's like an individual with a severe dissociative identity disorder without many if not all of all the side effects.
an upgrade would also be very interesting... sometimes i think an FPU while giving change to customers would be awesome... XD
@0sbraz0 Sometimes i think that universe itself is the problem. All the matter is too unconnected from one another. If you think about someone, there is no measurable contact between 2 minds alias telepathy. Everything is just attom based and not based on "energy fieldds" origianlly having a strong ties to at least some intelligent minds. Other words, if quantum effects were bigger, minds would have a massivemind over matter increase, there would be more than electrical signals from your nerves.
in the future the only thing that we'll have left as a human is our brain... most likely all our body will be robotics, until they find a way to replace our brain with a robotic brain that won't affect our soul and let us keep controling our robotic bodies, without thinking about dieing. wierd
I must question whether it is honestly beneficial to communicate without the benefits of spoken word. Think of the technology we have now and our ability to read non verbals and yet we miscommunicate all the time with little more to go on then facial recognition or typed words. Our patterns of speech add depth and emotion to our thoughts, it gives passion to our learning. I am oddly intrigued by this theory, but worry that it defeats the nature of communication and learning.
@ninjakannon The concept of a "specialist" only matters if people are limited and need to focus all of their abilities on specific things. It would completely dissolve, at least in known fields, if everyone had the capacities available to them."So-called professional mathematicians have, in their reliance on the relative incapacity of the rest of mankind, acquired for themselves a reputation for profundity very similar to the reputation for sanctity possessed by theologians." - Lichtenberg
@DJAR1E Even if everyone had the optional ability to see in 10 dimensions, not everyone would want or need to on a regular basis, and different people would still be better at these things than others. The concept of a specialist won't dissolve from this.
@ninjakannon (1) No one needs all of their sensory and cognitive abilities on a regular basis, so I don't see how *thinking* in 10 dimensions (6:45) is terribly different. Likewise, I did not dispute that some people would be better at things (i.e. perform better) than others. I said it would increase their capacities. That is because our capacities are contingent on things like the elasticity and particular coordination of our brain, which, like performance, can change based on environment.
@ninjakannon (2) That said, look back at my original response: I said the concept of "specialist," i.e. focusing on one particular field of knowledge, would dissolve if people could easily move between different frameworks of thinking. That would expand if we could overcome the deficiencies that make it difficult for many people to understand foundational concepts. I agree that some would perform better, but there would be much more fluidity and integration than what we have now.
Re 2: I really don't think I know enough to make further comment. You may be right, although I certainly maintain that the concept of a specialist would not change. I further ponder the consequences; especially the flip-side Warwick does not address here.
Funny thing is i don't think technology is moving fast enough, every time new technology arises it always takes like 10 yrs before it actually changes anything in the world, but if we were all interconnected through our minds then we could speed up technology development to the point where we might actually get off this planet and have the understanding to work together. If we don't learn this together then i hope we get annihilated by aliens that chose to use this tech to advance themselves.
@Fridaey13txhOktober Molded humanism? Humanism is what breaks the mold! If we're all cyborgs, we're part of a defined, molded race. We'll lose our individual identity.
Hahaha, á true Cyborg is a being to whom cybernetic and biological parts are vital, not a robot, so how exactly would that make one "loose individuality"?
So may in the "west" boast about the importance of individuality (while disregarding the drive to self-improvement of the previous generation), but very few actually have that.
@Fridaey13txhOktober jesus christ you're fucking asian aren't you? you would lose individuality because of the ability to download information, memories, knowledge, and artificial experiences into your brain. you'd have a mere recolection of a life instead of the genuine experience of living. individuality is something gained from personal exploration and experience. if everyone is downloading the same information into their brains that value is, not necessarily lost, but certainly diminished
@mynumberisnt4556169 It's quite an assumption to think that people will all download the same information. The more people learn, the more they create. Therefore, there will always be new experiences, and new ideas setting people apart. Furthermore, with new knowledge, comes the disregarding of old knowledge, based on the individual values of the person. Lastly, increasing ones knowledge doesn't cause one to lose ones self respect. With self respect comes the desire for individuality.
@Fridaey13txhOktober knowledge and technological advancement aren't all there is to life, infact they're quite a small portion of life that we allow to disgustingly take over. we need to be what we are... human. how much technological advancement is enough? will we be satisfied when we finally kill ourselves with all kinds of robotic implants or die at the claws of robot overlords?
@Fridaey13txhOktober this is all i have to say. i dont care if you answer back because im not going to be sucked into petty and pompous argument of two individuals trying to sound smarter than one another... arguing on the internet is like running in the special olympics, even if you win, you're still retarded...
Post-humanism is what will break the mold, in fact it have most probably already started.
I think it is funny that "humanists" lectures others with a straight face about how great individualisme is, when their beliefs and personality are pretty much mass-produced by the medias, peers and society.
Wow... If these people were geniuses, they would be looking into making Automail instead of Cyborg body parts. Automail doesn't require a chip to be inserted :p!
@teeswaga I vaguely remember someone saying something about Automail having alchemic properties to amplify the signals from nerves or something.... I think it was Scar who said it...
Silly noises called speech? Well,we are silly beings called humans. If you want toys that do anything you want, you have this place called toysRus.
You're definitely not getting me in this process. I rather be a natural being that thinks in 3 dimensions than be a cyborg that could be hacked into by any programmer with a head above his shoulders. It's not evolution,It's becoming more vulnerable. Evolution always goes towards mother nature, not the opposite. Nature always did it better with no tech
@ryju89 Don't use medicines? Where do they think they come from friend? Plants. Electricity also comes from natural sources like wind and water. I'm not against you becoming a cyborg, but imagine several different situations in which you are a cyborg and tell me if it's really as awesome as you want it to be.
Cyborgs are half-robots. So make sure you scan yourself at least once a day for viruses.
I am a student at reading university and was taught last year by Kevin Warwick. What he proposes is incredible and can only help mankind. His mind may hold the key to saving lives, making people with loss of sight and loss of limb be able to operate as they were when they were born. He also has an incredibly high Erdős–Bacon number, one less infact than Stephen Hawking also an incredible human being. Trust me when I say he is a Genius!!!
this is the beginning of the end of humanity..! This guy is already a clone and being used to propagate a very dangerous agenda, one where our minds will be controlled by the flick of a switch - ready made emotions, thoughts and actions, all provided by our Govt Overlords...
Does that sound like harmless technical progress for the good of all ..?
THIS FUCKHEAD, doesnt he understand all we need is strong potent pot! Marijuana is all we need... jeez, scientist shithead should be charged under the usa patriot act. and who cares if he is not even a usa citizen, just kidnapp the chump
@deceiver123m And lastly - Take your hypocrissy where it's wanted. You cannot stand there and bash science and technology from a scientifically technological platform. If you hate progress so much then do these things:
Never see the doctor, burn your car, rip off your clothes, throw away all your clean food and water, toss your computer out the window and move BACK to the forests that we came from. There, nobody will judge you.
If you cannot, or will not do that - then STFU, you hypocrite!
@Xeletoph ha, way to change the subject asshole. Humans can evolve with technology around them just fine. Humanity does not need your propagandized culture, composed of idiots, to force the rest of humanity into the new world order cattle society that the rich elite plan for the rest of us.
@PseudoPoiesis Here here! I'll be in line right behind you. The second they can connect my consciousness to a virtual universe I'm in there!
I wanna be the first drooling retard, twitching in the corner with wires coming out of my ass!
Funny, perhaps. But, I'm not joking in the least. I'm not at all tied to my biology. The only organ worth a damn is my brain, and that still works on electric impulses. Being downloaded wont be all that bad. In-fact it's going to be quite awesome.
0:36 - 0:47 He's right, humans over time have accepted artificial means before. What makes you think having a microchip implanted in your brain is any different? Most people in society are equipped with artificial means on or in their bodies already. Tattoos, earrings, plastic surgery, steroids, pills, hair dying, hair extensions, teeth braces, bone screws etc. With every new human technology comes with the motivation for vain display, but it should be used to help ease biological problems.
Open your eyes to the truth! the government hides so many things
and if you do your research you will see people have been predicting this kind of stuff for a long time and people ignore it in fear of the truth but look this was one of the things predicted and now its happening! dont be fooled its not to help you!
@bitchybabygirl13 Kind of a contradiction. Transhumanism is built around using technology to further the abilities of a human past the limitations of their biology.
@KalkiAvatara LMAO LOL. LOL LOL. Look guys, we have a terrorist! This person seems to think it's his/her RIGHT to decide who should live or die. Kalki thinks s/he's GOD. Funny since there isn't one. Oh WAIT - you wanna kill Kevin Warwick BECAUSE you think there's a God don't you?
Tell me KalkiAvatara: where's your bomb vest? Are you gonna come to the food court and blow my ass up at the mall while I'm trying to get some Sbaro's Pizza? I mean come on, I'm transhuman too. Do something about it!
So instead of feeding all the starving people in africa, and making us immune to diseases we shall be spending our money on becoming cyborgs, which is in my opinion human greed.
Also, you want to wipe out the human race, your own race? Thats a bit unethical.
I'd rather become the sub-species than be a cyborg, even if it means being inferior.
Ok, you go do that. Typical myopia, unable to see the benefits of innovation, research, and human enhancement, which is not a new thing. We can keep on spoon-feeding Africa until the cows come home (or more likely, humanity implodes) or we can create superintelligence to uplift, not eradicate everyone else.
@MissGeoorgiieee That's kind of non-sequitor, don't you think? Maybe, just maybe a fallacy of equivocation?
Trans-humanism is not about becoming cyborgs at the expense of other humans. Infact, there is far more then cybernetics/cyberpunk fueling the trans-human movement. Genetics is just one facet of the movement; so OF COURSE we're going to overcome disease, remove our pathogens, overcome hunger and poverty, aging, birth malformations, and even death its self. Nobody has to be left out.
@Xeletoph I'll have to disagree, even Kevin Warwick said that Humans will become the subspecies, and when they communicate with these 'cyborgs' they're just like 'cows' talking and not being able to send message through your mind.
So infact, a lot of people will be left out, also who would like to become immortal, overcoming death, the world becomes overpopulated, then what will happen?
@MissGeoorgiieee We've already got a solution to over-populations, and no I'm not talking about death panels. lol. There's a building concept known as an ecopalys. This is a skyscraper which has been retrofitted specifically to grow food for the masses. By utilizing aquaponic/hydroponic technology, we can grow plants at 10x the growth rate from soil. By carefully manipulating light and nutrient levels we can produce food that is healthier for us then soil from the earth can grow. Technology FTW!
@MissGeoorgiieee con't* a building, with an inside footprint the size of a football field would be capable of growing MANY acres of food. With current technology, we have the ability to feed house and clothe the entire world! We only need to use it properly. ;)
Humans will not become a subspecies. There will be organic humans and inorganic humans. There will be genetically modified humans and normal humans. In any case it is an over-all boon to human kind. We will transcend our biological limits
@Xeletoph The only sector that matters in this issue is the rich elite, everyone else has no voice in the matter because you have no armies and no political power. No technocrat or anything of the sort will be above the secret societies that remain in charge, and ill die with a weapon on hand before i let those new world order assholes ever get my mind and soul into their matrix of evil.
@deceiver123m You know, the thing about 'secret societies' is that they STOP being a secret when everybody knows about them. You'd think these people with their unlimited resources and billions of dollars would at least be able to keep this BIG SECRET away from the general public. These power elite should at least be able to keep this alleged conspiracy inside the bag.
Oh, WAIT - There IS NO power elite! There is the truth - that humanity MUST unify culture gov't & currency for mutual survival.
@deceiver123m We must unify as one language, one humanity in order to support our own existence as a culture. It is clear that people will maintain their old tongues while taking up the one world tongue in addition. They will keep their culture while adopting the new ways in their culture. We will share the world's resources, and unify, stamping out all forms of separatism - which is a dangerous illusion that will destroy us all if we don't do away with it.
@Xeletoph your single world government quackery will fail miserably. Ill make it my life's work to rally intellectuals and heads of state against single world governance and instead ill advocate the restoring of the Nation State as the pillars of governance in the minds of their people. Country by country theyll retreat from single governance nonsense and we will live happily ever after. the end.
@deceiver123m You don't understand, do you? As our population density increases, we're going to need more efficient ways to develop and distribute resources. This means needing a global information grid without contradicting information. ONLY a central computer connected to millions all over the world could juggle the mega-tons of resources and accurately calculate the earth's carrying capacity. This means tearing down borders between cultures, gov't's,languages, currency. 1-world-gov't!
@Xeletoph thats what the bankers would love for u to do- you are rationalizing their take over of the world. You my friend are the exact puppet they love. So i hope u get in some terrible accident, because you are too brainwashed to ever believe that government does not give a shit about you. The gov't does not care about you, they dont give a shit, they dont care about you- why does that not register in your brain???? Small governments dont care about you- Your solution: a world government.
@deceiver123m Separatism is a dangerous illusion, friend. We are already one world, one species, one humanity and the mind states that contradict this will drive us to our extinction.
We have to gather together under one banner for mutual survival. If we maintain the illusion of separatism, we will fail. Only if we work as one, with one gov't, one currency, one language, can we work as one. As long as these cultural, language, and political borders divide us we cannot prosper as a species.
@Xeletoph communitarianism is a dangerous dillusion. and it does not work to help the lower classes. Your single world government will fail because the people will not stand for global enslavement. Your new world order leaders are meeting in Cancun, Mexico right now, today-- theyre there writing legislation as if they were some sort of government already. And theyre counting on you communitarianism to help them pass their agenda of global governance. Like i told you, the government does not CARE
@deceiver123m Hey SWEEET! Ad-Hominem attacks. You can't actually make regard to my argument, so you attack my character instead. Go ahead, wish bad things on me, see if I care. See if I believe in bs like magic anyhow.
If the oligarchy gets in the way, we CRUSH them - it's that easy. You seem to keep missing is ONE important fact - We are far superior in numbers to oligarchs and can dethrone them ANY TIME! We FORCE them to care, or we draw their blood.
@Xeletoph you crush them? and when did you crush them communitarian? Hmmmm the european union is pushing carbon credits and so is the united states. Carbon credits is to enslave us all and you know this. If you even dare say carbon credits is to help us our conversation is over cause then i already know your a liar. So, ill move on to ask you why is it that the european union - a regional government, is moving to enslave its people? Elites fool people into accepting a super large government.
@Xeletoph you are forgetting a MUCH bigger point my dumbed down friend. Only me and you and a handful of humans are willing to fight for freedom and equality- what about the rest of the people? The soldiers identify with their employers. If it was so simple to overthrow the queen of england then why is the fat cow still the prime owner of land & running her banking empire until this day. Where in the world are these masses of people's liberations armies you have dreamed up in your head- Dreamer!
@deceiver123m There are simple, efficient, and non-violent solutions to defeating the oligarchy. Doing two simple things could make us all a little freer. But in order for such a thing to workthe movement would have to be decisive, swift, and massive.
The oligarchy is big and powerful. But the oligarchy is powered by us, the average person. The people who think they have no power actually have the most, and vice verse.
Those is power expressly rely upon us & It's time to cut the apron straps.
I've already said we need to defeat the monetary system. There is a simple, easily deployed, non-violent way of taking this breaking system DOWN. The monetary system has to crash in order for the resource based economy to be employed.
We CAN feed house and clothe the entire world, while maintaining essential balance and harmony with nature, all while sustaining the world at a high standard of living. But first the banks must fall.
@Xeletoph okay then were on the same page, but the world must not and cannot unite while still having the different nations under banking/corporation control.
@deceiver123m It seems as though you're not willing to fight. You seem like you've already lied down and accepted defeat by paranoia and conspiracy theories.
We don't NEED a gov't, we don't NEED a monetary system, we don't NEED bankers, and we have the power to dethrone all the world's powers and unite it into one mind, one heritage, one currency, one language, one culture, one humanity.
Once the borders are down, then we can reach the stars. People say the sky's the limit - I say it's more.
@Xeletoph You first have to fight that system and let it collapse before any of your imaginary utopian quests can even come to pass. You are living in imagination land with your dreams of a good single world government while im only at the bare edges of reality seeing that banking is the problem to first tackle, not building a world government like your stupid ass wants. First re-instate the glass steagle act and restore the sovereignty of Nations from the Banking cartels... and no we wont unite
@deceiver123m I think you can't see the big picture because you're too busy taking it up the tail pipe from the likes of Alex Jones. Are you at all familiar with project night bird? Yeah, he and Ron Paul are part of a gov't established and funded social engineering program, which is meant specifically to cause this kind of upset and division amongst the people.
If the world unites under one banner, we can feed house and clothe EVERYBODY to a high standard of living.
@Xeletoph Once you have kicked out the bankers from london out of the usa and world wide, and stop this derivatives nonsense then the world can go ahead and institute new policies on conservation- NOT carbon taxes... policies on saving nature, not economic policies designed to line up the bankers pockets. Now please stop acting like a fucking hippie and believing the world will unite, that cannot happen unless centuries of change occurs and the first step to good change is to reclaim SOVEREIGNTY
@deceiver123m Getting the bankers out of the way is the easiest thing in the world. The system will crumble if the people don't support it. This means withdrawing your cash from bank vaults, even if you have to stifle your withdraws to keep it on the D&L. Close your account. Cash your employment checks at grocery stores or businesses you trust. This means buying high efficiency solar panels and getting off the electric grid.
The oligarchy would be on its knees if just 50% of us did that.
@Xeletoph at least u must admit that we have to get the bankers out of the way... And in that case, the USA presidents have been trying since the beggining of the United States to kick out the bankers. SO if you have some secret plan on beating the bankers then implement it, because "the people" love their banking rulers, because the bankers have brain washed them and confused them into thinking everything is fine and democracy does exist in the united states. The bankers after all own media
@deceiver123m As for my secret plan? I've already spouted it to you. The people have to revolt, but we have to do this in an effective manor. Falling into violence and anarchy will be failure, those things will only set us back. We dethrone the bankers over time by taking our support away from them. We two agree on the necessity for this to take place. The internet is a perfect place for the gathering of like-minds, and for word to get out. So, that in mind - aren't we on our way already?

RisenPhoenix68 10 months ago
@0sbraz0 Human brain is a dual core in a way, so why not quad core or whatever. I bet you meant actually "upgraded human brain" that is capable for at least many times more then the normal humans could ever do :P
cyberdaemon 8 months ago
@cyberdaemon i think with dual core i meant a funny "it's too futuristic" comment in the first place :D then something like producing a human with a single concience but two brains, to preserve individuality and other things. basically it's like an individual with a severe dissociative identity disorder without many if not all of all the side effects.
an upgrade would also be very interesting... sometimes i think an FPU while giving change to customers would be awesome... XD
0sbraz0 8 months ago
@0sbraz0 Sometimes i think that universe itself is the problem. All the matter is too unconnected from one another. If you think about someone, there is no measurable contact between 2 minds alias telepathy. Everything is just attom based and not based on "energy fieldds" origianlly having a strong ties to at least some intelligent minds. Other words, if quantum effects were bigger, minds would have a massivemind over matter increase, there would be more than electrical signals from your nerves.

Why would anyone other than a specialist need to think in 10 dimensions or 'see' infra-red?
ninjakannon 1 year ago
@ninjakannon The concept of a "specialist" only matters if people are limited and need to focus all of their abilities on specific things. It would completely dissolve, at least in known fields, if everyone had the capacities available to them."So-called professional mathematicians have, in their reliance on the relative incapacity of the rest of mankind, acquired for themselves a reputation for profundity very similar to the reputation for sanctity possessed by theologians." - Lichtenberg
DJAR1E 1 year ago
@DJAR1E Even if everyone had the optional ability to see in 10 dimensions, not everyone would want or need to on a regular basis, and different people would still be better at these things than others. The concept of a specialist won't dissolve from this.
ninjakannon 1 year ago
@ninjakannon (1) No one needs all of their sensory and cognitive abilities on a regular basis, so I don't see how *thinking* in 10 dimensions (6:45) is terribly different. Likewise, I did not dispute that some people would be better at things (i.e. perform better) than others. I said it would increase their capacities. That is because our capacities are contingent on things like the elasticity and particular coordination of our brain, which, like performance, can change based on environment.
DJAR1E 1 year ago
@ninjakannon (2) That said, look back at my original response: I said the concept of "specialist," i.e. focusing on one particular field of knowledge, would dissolve if people could easily move between different frameworks of thinking. That would expand if we could overcome the deficiencies that make it difficult for many people to understand foundational concepts. I agree that some would perform better, but there would be much more fluidity and integration than what we have now.
DJAR1E 1 year ago
@DJAR1E Re 1: I agree with this.
Re 2: I really don't think I know enough to make further comment. You may be right, although I certainly maintain that the concept of a specialist would not change. I further ponder the consequences; especially the flip-side Warwick does not address here.
ninjakannon 1 year ago
Funny thing is i don't think technology is moving fast enough, every time new technology arises it always takes like 10 yrs before it actually changes anything in the world, but if we were all interconnected through our minds then we could speed up technology development to the point where we might actually get off this planet and have the understanding to work together. If we don't learn this together then i hope we get annihilated by aliens that chose to use this tech to advance themselves.

Fridaey13txhOktober 1 year ago
@Fridaey13txhOktober Molded humanism? Humanism is what breaks the mold! If we're all cyborgs, we're part of a defined, molded race. We'll lose our individual identity.
mynumberisnt4556169 1 year ago
Hahaha, á true Cyborg is a being to whom cybernetic and biological parts are vital, not a robot, so how exactly would that make one "loose individuality"?
So may in the "west" boast about the importance of individuality (while disregarding the drive to self-improvement of the previous generation), but very few actually have that.
Fridaey13txhOktober 1 year ago
@Fridaey13txhOktober jesus christ you're fucking asian aren't you? you would lose individuality because of the ability to download information, memories, knowledge, and artificial experiences into your brain. you'd have a mere recolection of a life instead of the genuine experience of living. individuality is something gained from personal exploration and experience. if everyone is downloading the same information into their brains that value is, not necessarily lost, but certainly diminished
mynumberisnt4556169 1 year ago 2
@mynumberisnt4556169 It's quite an assumption to think that people will all download the same information. The more people learn, the more they create. Therefore, there will always be new experiences, and new ideas setting people apart. Furthermore, with new knowledge, comes the disregarding of old knowledge, based on the individual values of the person. Lastly, increasing ones knowledge doesn't cause one to lose ones self respect. With self respect comes the desire for individuality.
InfiniteUniverse88 11 months ago
@Fridaey13txhOktober knowledge and technological advancement aren't all there is to life, infact they're quite a small portion of life that we allow to disgustingly take over. we need to be what we are... human. how much technological advancement is enough? will we be satisfied when we finally kill ourselves with all kinds of robotic implants or die at the claws of robot overlords?

Also, you want to wipe out the human race, your own race? Thats a bit unethical.

Ok, you go do that. Typical myopia, unable to see the benefits of innovation, research, and human enhancement, which is not a new thing. AspiringPotato 1 year ago
Xeletoph 1 year ago
@Xeletoph I'll have to disagree, even Kevin Warwick said that Humans will become the subspecies, and when they communicate with these 'cyborgs' they're just like 'cows' talking and not being able to send message through your mind.
So infact, a lot of people will be left out, also who would like to become immortal, overcoming death, the world becomes overpopulated, then what will happen?
MissGeoorgiieee 1 year ago
@MissGeoorgiieee We've already got a solution to over-populations, and no I'm not talking about death panels. lol. There's a building concept known as an ecopalys. This is a skyscraper which has been retrofitted specifically to grow food for the masses. By utilizing aquaponic/hydroponic technology, we can grow plants at 10x the growth rate from soil. By carefully manipulating light and nutrient levels we can produce food that is healthier for us then soil from the earth can grow. Technology FTW!
Xeletoph 1 year ago
@MissGeoorgiieee con't* a building, with an inside footprint the size of a football field would be capable of growing MANY acres of food. With current technology, we have the ability to feed house and clothe the entire world! We only need to use it properly. ;)
Humans will not become a subspecies. There will be organic humans and inorganic humans. There will be genetically modified humans and normal humans. In any case it is an over-all boon to human kind. We will transcend our biological limits
Xeletoph 1 year ago
@Xeletoph The only sector that matters in this issue is the rich elite, everyone else has no voice in the matter because you have no armies and no political power. No technocrat or anything of the sort will be above the secret societies that remain in charge, and ill die with a weapon on hand before i let those new world order assholes ever get my mind and soul into their matrix of evil.
deceiver123m 1 year ago
@deceiver123m You know, the thing about 'secret societies' is that they STOP being a secret when everybody knows about them. You'd think these people with their unlimited resources and billions of dollars would at least be able to keep this BIG SECRET away from the general public. These power elite should at least be able to keep this alleged conspiracy inside the bag.
Oh, WAIT - There IS NO power elite! There is the truth - that humanity MUST unify culture gov't & currency for mutual survival.
Xeletoph 1 year ago
@deceiver123m We must unify as one language, one humanity in order to support our own existence as a culture. It is clear that people will maintain their old tongues while taking up the one world tongue in addition. They will keep their culture while adopting the new ways in their culture. We will share the world's resources, and unify, stamping out all forms of separatism - which is a dangerous illusion that will destroy us all if we don't do away with it.
Otherwise, there is only extinction.
Xeletoph 1 year ago
@Xeletoph your single world government quackery will fail miserably. Ill make it my life's work to rally intellectuals and heads of state against single world governance and instead ill advocate the restoring of the Nation State as the pillars of governance in the minds of their people. Country by country theyll retreat from single governance nonsense and we will live happily ever after. the end.
deceiver123m 1 year ago
@deceiver123m You don't understand, do you? As our population density increases, we're going to need more efficient ways to develop and distribute resources. This means needing a global information grid without contradicting information. ONLY a central computer connected to millions all over the world could juggle the mega-tons of resources and accurately calculate the earth's carrying capacity. This means tearing down borders between cultures, gov't's,languages, currency. 1-world-gov't!
Xeletoph 1 year ago
@Xeletoph thats what the bankers would love for u to do- you are rationalizing their take over of the world. You my friend are the exact puppet they love. So i hope u get in some terrible accident, because you are too brainwashed to ever believe that government does not give a shit about you. The gov't does not care about you, they dont give a shit, they dont care about you- why does that not register in your brain???? Small governments dont care about you- Your solution: a world government.
deceiver123m 1 year ago
@deceiver123m Separatism is a dangerous illusion, friend. We are already one world, one species, one humanity and the mind states that contradict this will drive us to our extinction.
We have to gather together under one banner for mutual survival. If we maintain the illusion of separatism, we will fail. Only if we work as one, with one gov't, one currency, one language, can we work as one. As long as these cultural, language, and political borders divide us we cannot prosper as a species.
Xeletoph 1 year ago
@Xeletoph communitarianism is a dangerous dillusion. and it does not work to help the lower classes. Your single world government will fail because the people will not stand for global enslavement. Your new world order leaders are meeting in Cancun, Mexico right now, today-- theyre there writing legislation as if they were some sort of government already. And theyre counting on you communitarianism to help them pass their agenda of global governance. Like i told you, the government does not CARE

So, ill move on to ask you why is it that the european union - a regional government, is moving to enslave its people? Elites fool people into accepting a super large government.
deceiver123m 1 year ago
@Xeletoph you are forgetting a MUCH bigger point my dumbed down friend. Only me and you and a handful of humans are willing to fight for freedom and equality- what about the rest of the people? Where in the world are these masses of people's liberations armies you have dreamed up in your head- Dreamer!
deceiver123m 1 year ago
@deceiver123m There are simple, efficient, and non-violent solutions to defeating the oligarchy. Doing two simple things could make us all a little freer. But in order for such a thing to workthe movement would have to be decisive, swift, and massive.
The oligarchy is big and powerful. But the oligarchy is powered by us, the average person. The people who think they have no power actually have the most, and vice verse.
Those is power expressly rely upon us & It's time to cut the apron straps.
Xeletoph 1 year ago
@Xeletoph "The horible part about uniting...."
Xeletoph 1 year ago
@Xeletoph okay then were on the same page, but the world must not and cannot unite while still having the different nations under banking/corporation control.
deceiver123m 1 year ago
@deceiver123m It seems as though you're not willing to fight. You seem like you've already lied down and accepted defeat by paranoia and conspiracy theories.
We don't NEED a gov't, we don't NEED a monetary system, we don't NEED bankers, and we have the power to dethrone all the world's powers and unite it into one mind, one heritage, one currency, one language, one culture, one humanity.
Once the borders are down, then we can reach the stars. People say the sky's the limit - I say it's more.
Xeletoph 1 year ago
@Xeletoph You first have to fight that system and let it collapse before any of your imaginary utopian quests can even come to pass. You are living in imagination land with your dreams of a good single world government while im only at the bare edges of reality seeing that banking is the problem to first tackle, not building a world government like your stupid ass wants.
