I started with fasttracker II back in '94. Good memories! It was actually Starbreeze Studios who were behind the production but they eventually stopped improving the software when they wanted to focus on creating games instead.

Switch to renoise which is AMAZING, CHEAP (Free to try) and very FT2-friendly!!!

FastTracker was coded using my first language, Borland Pascal 7.0 and Turbo Assembler. I think they used assembly for the graphic part to speed up the program.

che ricordi... ho lavorato su ft2 fino al 2001 circa... poi sono passato a reason...e po ia cubase... cosa ne possono capire i ragazzi di ora che si trovano le librerie di sample pronte e i vst.. .:)

@TheCoolbreezers non sapevo che usassi FT2... io ho fatto processo inverso, verso il 2007 mi ero avvicinato ai tracker, Renoise come tracker di terza generazione è un software molto potente, adatto per chi è dell'ambiente! Sempre in via di sviluppo, fa paura. milkytracker open mpt Ft2 it e via dicendo, li ho spulciati e oggi ancora li uso per provarli e cercare di fare qualcosa, YO!

I love this stuff. Used to sit up late nights when I was 12 using modedit 3.0 with a ibm ps/2 ...man those were tha days! people don't even know or care how much work goes into mods nor how awesome it is : )
