Whatch the same aria with Placido Domingo at Met. She is delightful, both of them are! Good fer her that she droped him, hope that she'll divorce him easily. He is not good fer her. With out her this guy is lost, mean time she's aclaimed from all opera stages around the world.What a girl!!! It's on youtube.

Gheorghiu is always so attractive both physically and vocally! I love her darkish voice with its rich palette of colours and "tearful" tones, they suit Micaëla's music so well... And Alagna is also very good here! I usually don't like him a lot, but here his essentially lyric voice bloomed wonderfully. ;-)

Fantastic - only Angela is dresses more like Carmen than Michaela. I suppose that she's not dressed only for this song. They sing this so beautifully!

What a charming and attractive couple and marvelous singing! Funny to have seen Gheorghiu singing Carmen (Habanera) somewhere else and sing Micaela here. Congrats to both. I would hope their children continue with the same operatic tradition and bring more delight and joy to this art.
