This a4 is most likely quattro which means all wheel drive sounds nice I'm getting that exhaust on my a4 next month

my buddy has a 96 A4 2.8 Quattro, the exhaust pipe size going into the muffler is 2.25" right? if so i'll tell him to get a Mag 12148 since it's cheaper and will flow well enough, he just wants the stock muffler gone and a bit of sound, the rest of the exhaust will remain stock, just swapping out the muffler only

Hey, I wanna do the same to my A4. I love the stock piping that comes with the car but I want a slightly deeper Vr6 like sound. What model Magnaflow is this and where can I buy it? Thanks alot.

Cheapest you could find it would be Ebay or Amazon. anywhere from $125 to $200

Milltek sounds better.....hear how high you have to REV that MOTOR to get the fart sound.......Magnaflow sound good on American V8. NOT EURO CARS!!!!!! YES Milltek might cost ALOT more BUT YOU get what you paid for....??? if you don't have the money leave the hobby to someone else!!!

On Mopar,id prefer Flowmasters.Though on Audi,these are not bad.Still the Audi R5 engine has got strangely a better sound.Like half of a Dodge Viper.

Did you delete the resonator and replace any piping or just swap out the rear muffler?

Behind the axle should be the resonator, the actual muffler should be before the axle. My friend has a 96 A4 2.8L and i'm trying to get him to delete the resonator and put in a Magnaflow. I think Corsa sounds a little better on these but they're too expensive.

i have a 99 2.8Q a4 and took out resonator befor my magnaflow. sounds great but realy loud drone im getting a magnaflow resonator to put on it soon

98 2.8 5 speed quattro. It has H&R lowering springs with Bilstein struts. 18" AZA wheels with new tires. It has new high performance 034 Motorsport engine mounts and tranny mounts, a Stern power ring and rear differential bushings to firm up the shifts, and short throw B&M shifter. It has a cold air intake and a Magnaflow muffler
