  • He is universal, like human beings should be...

  • خورشید خوش بی چون " وصف زیبایی از خداوند "

  • Bellissimo. Grazie! E grazie al poeta Rumi.

  • Alright people this poem was not written by Rumi, if u guys watch the movie u would find out. however I find it absolutely wonderful n its on my ipod now.

the poem of Rumi which was also sung by Salar Aghili in this film was the song of the butterflies. this is the poem/song of the atoms

  • @MiaGilaani

    Dear Mia,

Believe me, I have known Rumi for a very long time, No one but him could've said something so beautiful and ecstatic. :)

  • @Particleofdust Well I havn't read Rumi alot but I saw in the movie that when this poem was being recited it was said to be written by a nameless dervish, whose daughter goes to search for him so it cant be Rumi's and I searched for it on the internet as well but maybe I'm wrong so won't argue on that. Rumi was awesome in his own right no doubt

  • @MiaGilaani

I might be wrong dear Mia, but I am certain that this poem is written by Rumi as I have seen it in his Masnavi (Book).

  • @mannaggia83

Ciao! And how to pronounce the original lyric? Thx a lot if you give answer :)!

  • Anyone knows the name of the performer and where can I find more of his work? Original text would be a treasure too.

  • @FleetStrike

hello if you have not find yet , the performer is Salar Aghili, nice day.

  • anybody knows the original farsi text?

  • If I am not mistaken Rumi initially came from Balkh in present day Afghanistan. But, he is neither Afghani, Turkish nor Iranian, he is beyond geographic distinctions.

  • @MrKamran4685 - Beautifully put. :) Rumi is a traveller and a person of the World.

  • @MrKamran4685 -Balkh was part of persia in 14 th century; therefore he is a Poet. That's why his poems are in Persian.

  • Turkey is the poet Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi has written poems persian. He isn't İranian. He is Turkısh poet...

  • @FTHSNRFTHSNR

Mawlana Jalaluddin Rumi was a Persian from Balkh who moved to live in Konya in Anatolia. However, it does not matter what backgrounds he come from, its his literature that is an ethnicity itself :)

Greetings from a sunni Persian who loves Turks and the Ottoman Sultans.

  • @FTHSNRFTHSNR He was persian and wrote persian poems - he just lived in turkey for a long time

  • beautiful, persian language is so sweet

  • thank you

  • Are you sure Maulana Rumi wrote it? If so, in which book and where could I find it?

  • Divan -e Shams, Robayat, Number 556.

  • Oh wow! Thanks so much.

  • And the second quatrain can also be found in Divan-e Shams, Robayat section; Number 443.

  • I found this translation online:

"O day, arise! The atoms are dancing.

Thanks to Him the universe is dancing.

The souls are dancing, overcome with ecstasy.

I'll whisper in your ear where their dance is taking them...

All the atoms in the air and in the desert Know well, they seem insane.

Every single atom, happy or miserable,

Becomes enamoured of the sun, of which nothing can be said."

  • Thank you! ~

  • @ha14mu Thank you! :D

  • @moalisiddiqui I was doing a little research online and it would seem that I cannot find anywhere of this poem being connected to Rumi in any fashion. Could it be possible that this was created by someone who was influenced by Rumi or Omar Khayyam as the subject matter and style is very similar in traits and methods.

  • @moalisiddiqui thats because its not written by Rumi, the title of the video is misleading, if you saw this movie you would know. I saw it and a girl called Noor says that it was written by her father who became a wandering dervish.

  • @ha14mu

    thanks for translation of poem

  • Thank you so much. Divine blessings be upon you both, even more...

  • What a heavenly voice! Who is this?

  • "Salar Aghili"

  • can some one translate it, needs to know whats it all about
